Favorite pokemon GameBoy series game [poll]

Yeah, I almost forgot to but the Pokemon dungeon and pinball games on there (not a problem I guess since no one voted for them yet).

 

Old not as in the last release of the series, but the game in itself... I dunno I think it gets boring after a while.

 

starcraft is old too ^^
though I agree, all pokemon games are pretty much the same.

btw. weren't there two pinballs? Like one for red/blue and one for ruby/saphire?

 

Yeah, but we all know no one liked the original one. It was shoty....not that the second one was any better.

 

I dunno about quality, I only played it for a short while and frankly I don't care. But if it sucks that much, there's really no need for it on favourite list

As far as pokemon games, Silver and Gold were the best. that just goes unspoken xD

 

silver and gold wtf, best pkmn game ever made. The music easily made up for any errors or glitches the game had. If only I didn't lose my gold version...

you lose everythng. granted, the yellow version WAS my fault, and once I hid your gold version in VA, but i am not claiming anything to do with this. besides, you took no game system w/ so what woudl it matter?

 

If I had my older versions, I may have. I would have brought my diamond and DS, but why, when I already beat the entire game.

 

I suppose so. Really not point. I haven;t playes my DS in awhile though I want phantom hourglass.

 

I just hope I can find my DS when I come home for thanksgiving, so I can see my eevee forms again and maybe try tog et them to lvl 100 for bragging pruposes, lol

Is diamond worth bothering with it?

 

It was fun, and if your like me and like eevee's, the new evolutions add a lot more versatility to the teams.

The gameplay is good and the graphics are in 2.5-D, meaning they stick out from the 2-D of other games, but are not in full 3-D style pop-out looking.

slow? The game is as long as the others, and battles are the same difficulty.

also, what exactly does emulate mean? I can't remember.

slow as in walking from one place to another takes so long (I run it at ~70% normal speed though)

I meant using a program to play DS game on my computer, there are emulators for most older consoles (NES, SNES, all gameboys, PS1 etc.), you can even emulate DOS to run very old computer games on new machine.

 

oh, ok, so an emulator allows you to play non-computer games on the computer

yes, that would be it. Just don't expect to emulate newer consoles (PS2 genre and higher)

 

I wonder when they make a new pkmn game (which they obviously are), what new eevee forms there are going to be.

For every new game, except the ruby/saphire, they make new eevee forms. I've heard the dragon and dark forms are highly requested, I think it would be cool to see what new forms they are going to make next.
