For Protoss I would do Zealots ( juggernaut melee type), HT ( defensive and offensive caster), DT ( stealth with some offensive spells), and perhaps a robotics class.

Terran would have infantry ( spec into marine, firebat, medic, or reaper) and pilot ( small pistol and engineering tools capable of constructing turrets and what not. What makes this class unique is it can find and commandeer vehicles. A small hovering one being common, siege tanks being super rare, and a whole mess of specific vehicles in between)

Zerg would be ..well very unique. Perhaps start as drone and pick a class?

why would she want to do that?! It makes no sense, SHE is the leader now...
    And secondly...
Since we don't know the ending of SC2, I am going to have to assume that you mean the expansion.
But... -what?! Terran didn't win that! Zerg did! Kerrigan killed em all!

Also the Protoss didnt even really win SC1 all they did was escape from there own homeworld and cut there losses to just 70% of their population im not sure how anyone can call that a victory its more just avoiding complete destruction.

    people lets be original.
#1 epicness: a game needs two factors at epicness: one, you need not much HP, everything is a lot epicer if you die quickly. two, you need a mass for something important, like in WoW, the top number of players was 40, i cant think that we would need extra player spots, but some NPC's would be nice, i mean: we are saving their cute little pink/blue/whatever color zerg's asses have butts from evil again. in WoW they took neither of these points into consideration, as a warrior you had more than 4000 hp if you were a little good, and i took down the entire shadow council, who enslaved the orcs for generations, by my own cute green ass.
#2 weaponry: in the starcraft universe you dont have things like magic enchantments so i say there would be less weapons, about a hundred, and each will change your attack quite a lot, but wont proquire very long time to get, and it doesnt add to the epicness factor if you go kill mengsk for the third time so you get +1 stamina on your weapons
#3 mounts/machinery: in WoW mounts lost a lot of their epicness factor because you couldnt attack from them, and i think 60% extra speed isnt as good as it sounds if you take the wow factor in account(see below). so i propose you can use siege weapons at a much lower level(if there will be lvls) and be a sort of extra strong weapon, this weapons would be the main reason to go raiding because only in military hq's(dungeons) you would get some unblowed recourses, of course, a tank wouldnt just fit through the door and you can leave your pals alone so you must take some of the important parts and get the rest from scrap metal on the battlefield.
#4 smartness: i really miss a require to be smart to get to a high lvl easily in WoW, i am one of the only people that figured out that if you walk along the sides in WSG( a battle ground consisting of 2 small lumbermills, each placed on the sides of the map and a large open plain in the middle with trees at the sides) you can hide behind the trees if someone passes and get the flag easily. to increase required intelligence i say we remove the tooltip for items, you must figure out what to do with something yourself, and make much items pick-upable, so you have to choose smartly
#5: this is the wow factor, it is very simple: GO FLICKING BIG ARMIES WITH BIG GUNS AND SMALL SOLDIERS
#6 races: races in the starcraft universe are much more different than in the warcraft universe, in the warcraft universe all the races are merely the same with only an extra ability, i vote for making the races more different in GOS(galaxy of starcraft) by as an example, give the terran buyable squads, the zerg free squads and the protoss no squads.
#7 classes, i really dont know about this, i would think this classes would be fun: soldier, can use gauss rifles, power suites, flamethrowers, etc., the main purpose of this class is killing the enemy before they kill you, they are at their strongest in surprise attacks, there are the mechanists, these people can assemble machine parts and bunker parts in their scv suits, their main purpose is support, but they have some other abilities as well: they got grenades, mines and rockets, you got the ghosts, these people are a sniper and can use long range rifles and(in some dungeons) nukes at special locations, they are a overall good class, but their main weakness is face-to-face combat. for the protoss there are the high protoss, they excel at face to face fighting, the dark protoss, they excel at sneak attacks, and the ruling class, an overall great class
#7 unit positioneering, in WoW and in most MMORPG's the enemies are just standing at random locations near their camp doing nothing, in GoS i'd like see every unit be at it's location for a specific reason, and/or do something.
#8 i'd like this game to be a MMORPGRTS

wow, my first wall of text

none is good nor bad, but this from the viewpoint of raynor, the most decent guy in the koprulu sector
    bad: ulrezasj, dominion, zerg swarm
    neutral: confederacy, UED, conclave
good: raynors raiders, high protoss, dark protoss

    The only bad one is...

Alan Sechezar! He made enemies with Terran, Protoss and Zerg! No doubt he'll try to mess with Xel'naga and Hybrids.

Didn't Sechezar die in the Enslavers Campaign? If not, i think he's too much of a noob to beat Kerrigan

The universe will not end because:
    1) The UED back on earth are the deus ex machina of the starcraft universe. They posses superior particle weapons and their technology is decades ahead of the koprulu terrans. Also the UED has enormous manpower, in the brood war manual it said the UED considered the Koprulu colonies "expendable". So basically the UED can come in and pwn everyone including the hybrids.
    2) That would make for a shitty story.
    3) Starcraft and its expansions/sequels are a potential cash cow. How is blizzard supposed to make any money if the universe dies?

If they made a Starcraft MMO it wouldnt be WOW in space. It would probably be more like Planetside or Tabula Rasa. Zerg will most definately not be playable, they focus on swarm tactics so unless they made zerg an alien form of what Gods and Heroes was going to be (Squad-based MMO where your squad is just AI) then it wouldn't work. Won't have classes most likely.

The day that Starcraft comes out as MMO is the day I kill 100 random people with SMGs and then shoot myself.
Starcraft Universe will be continued forever. We will pass the art of ling rushing, archon massing, and SCV rushing, and so on, to our children and grandchildren, and their descendants!
    LONG LIVE STARCRAFT!

There is no chance for this to end. EVERY Blizz game HAS an expansion :) So we have a long time ahead of us.
Space of Starcraft (or what ever would a MMORPG (MMORTS) named ) would be very strange because there would be at lest 10 planets/moons/asteroids let's say 1 for every race and some neutral to fight for. And there must have been every type of terrain we know from SC1 (how much are there ?)
I think that SC as a MMO would be more like C&C renegade or Natural selection (Half life 1 mod) where you start as something basic like an SCV operator or a larva, first work by gathering minerals for your base, some % would be payed to you. After some tome you could put the SCV to a hangar or something ands buy a marine suit, a volture as a mount or maybe a siege tank :)
Or as a Larva you eat the remains of some basic creatures you (somehow kill) gather points, and at some value/time you will be able to evolve in to a Zergling, after time you could evolve in to something bigger or get upgrades (major upgrades) to the zergling form. There would be a problem with the Ultralisk, maybe make a lower class of a Ultralisk that a player can evolve in to a "young Ultra" so he would not be very powerful, and a normal ultra would be only a Raid boss.
I have no idea about the death system; A human could be respawned at some medical bay with his vehicles left where he died for other ppl (terran only) to use, and other Races could use it for minerals :).
A Protos could be "evolved" to a Dragoon/ Reaver/observer/Archon and start with a very lowered lvl and would take a lot more XP to evolve this class of a char.
A zerg would have to start back at the Hatchery from the larva form, and for some time would be restricted not being able to evolve to the form it was killed in.

Metzen said that the UED was supposed to have a more advanced tech tree than the current terrans that includes "uber tachyon lasers". Keep in mind that koprulu terrans can stand toe to toe with zerg and protoss and that Fenix and Raynor allied themselves with Kerrigan in order to take out the UED because they knew how much of a threat they were.

Also, if you do a statistical regression you will find that earths population in the year 2500 should be around 400 billion.
