Unfortunately, the RTS crowd isn’t large enough to attract that much attention. It doesn’t make enough money. That is why C&C 3 is...well....understandable, at least. It lacked the diversity of earlier games, but it also opened the RTS market to consoles. Like all console games, matches need to last less then 30 minutes, or else the frat gamers get bored. It also couldn’t have half as much complexity as normally expected of an RTS. It also probably raised interest in earlier games.

I guess what I’m trying to say is games that are interesting don’t make $$$ as well as games that are bland and quickly produced. So EA makes bland games. And people buy them.

Actually, I think its part of their strategy. They make good games just enough to start a new franchise, then they run it into the ground as quickly as possible. Rinse, repeat. But it's the gamers fault for buying the new games, not EAs for making them.

 

EA should finally fix and release a goddamn patch for BFME2 and RoTWK. Seriously, they publish Crysis and they don't even have the shits enough to fix those two aformentioned games?!

*In case you don't get it, BFME2 and RoTWK is pretty much broken from the start if you have an 8*** card. Crysis, however, almost demands high quality cards*

Fix your games or release the LoTR license to someone else who can make a decent RTS.

EA's the reason people think the PC market's going to hell, because EA floods the market with their crap games. Thankfully we have Activision Blizzard and a few other companies that haven't been bought out yet.

 

My cousin used to work for EA. He gave me free games!
