does anybody else think terran air is weak?

back on topic, in the original starcraft i would sometimes make a few battlecruisers (6-8) as the ground pounders with about 20 wraiths flying air cover for them. I also had science vessels nearby as both detectors and for their three incredibly useful abilities. battlecruiser about to die? defense matrix it and send it back to the base for repair. protoss? emp. zerg? irradiate.

 

I'm surprised they wouldn't make Dark archons/Devourers+scourges or mutalisks

 

Original SC didn't have Dark Archons or Devourers.

Which army would win. . . a full unit cap of valkeries, or a full unit cap of carriers with maximum interceptors?

 

Valkyries. Focus fire them on a Carrier and add in splash damage to other Carriers.

 

ok, now a full unit cap of devourers vs. a full unit cap of valkyries?

 

Devourers attack slower.

 

Valkryies, because of the splash dmg.

 

Actually I tested that with a friend and it really depends on how you attack. If its a head on attack by the devourers Valkyries own them easily, if they attack form different angles at once though the battle is much closer and depends more so on luck.

 

but devourers have splash damage to and I thought they don't take as much to build and you can make more of them than valkyries.

 

All races had good air, SV's were just insane when used correctly. Using them to their full capacity, you could change the course of war with ease.

 

Nope, they only deal damage to the unit they attack. Only the Acid Spores splash.

Ya but thats still splash damage, I meen it makes them fire slower.
