Do you think the story will ever end?

You can't just say that X Starcraft race is the equivalent of Y Warcraft 3 race, Blizzard combined many gameplay elements from each race to create the Wc3 races. The Night Elves have the Zerg's "worker sacrifices himself to make a building" thing, the Terrans's "first basic unit is ranged" thing. Those are already two unique aspects of the Terran and Zerg that are used in the Night Elves, so Protoss is the least likely race you could associate them with. The Undead have the Protoss' "automatic building warping" thing and its "the basic ranged unit is the strongest of all the other races' " thing, so they would be a more accurate example of a Protoss-like race.

 

i jsut wonder if they can continue the story after kerrigans death, shes the center piece of it all.
And i think 99% of storys are just rehashes, proving the idea that its not what you do, but how you do it.
personally i prefer the protoss to those other "high races" mostly becuase not only are they smart, but pretty brutal

 

The Protoss are by no means smarter than the Terrans. Most of their technology is based on their psionic powers that the Xel endowed them with. They are the most honourable and the most "good" race, but that doesn't make them all-knowing and wise.

 

true, but the terrans are far more defensive, the protoss have no problem getting their hands dirty.
unlike elves, who prefer bows and magic.

Same mission as Fenix, at the end of the zerg campaign just after kerrigan retook korhal for mengsk.

 

im hoping for starcraft 2 to bring in the new characters,ties up some loose ends,and in the Samir appears with a army of his own...then the expansion takes off with you trying to survive the onslaught..(i dont want kerrigan to die she is by far my favorite villain ever)but it would be nice to see the overmind again,or you (zerg)break free of kerrigans grasp and return to daggoth,OR start your own brood,how nice it would be to play starcraft 2 out total war style conquering planet after planet /cry.

I expect a few new heroes, look at Tychus Findlay and the new commander. I also expect some new protoss (Mothership captain?) and a few xel'naga.

 

there will definetley be two new protoss charachters at least

True, most their technology was given to them, but you can't say they're not smarter than the Terran. The average Terran commander age is late 40's, early 50's. Average 'toss, over 200. Now, see, I can understand you saying that the Terran are more clever though.

 

Yeah, but your forgetting the fact that Protoss grow so old. Why would you make a 40 year old protoss commander if you have people who are over 200 (I guess over 300, Artanis is a prodigy) who have alot more experience. It isn't comparable.

 

Well the protoss have mastered psi crystals, and now have managed to put a computer in one, there denetley more technilogically advanced, but wether they are smarter than a terran is still under debate , i always thought purity of form made them smarter anyways.

only certain protoss like tassadar were able to reconis the zerg threat, and also recognise the abilities of the dark templar, seems like most other protoss were to high and mighty to even consider the dark templar bretheren, until the zerg came along.

i think zeratul will bring tassadar back and will join to make the zeratul/tassadar archon hero

 

That hero archon was actually in the sc1 editor, but I don't see that happening.
