Do you still use marines in late game?

Yea I just LOVE focusing fire on them hydras

 

I found Marines and Goliaths are a very strong army.
They both attack ground and air. With the Marines constantly pounding away and then Goliaths slamming their Auto Cannons into the mix...

 

Ive neverreally tried that, ive gone firebats and goliaths, goliaths providing air support.

 

Bunkers are pretty weak in the late game.

 

i dont make any bunkers at the beginning and not at the end. better u make some marines more insdeat of a bunker.. or something else

EDIT: At maps like scd bunkers take too much place so the tanks can't go out of the base

 

Except that marines die a lot faster if you are attacked and have no bunkers.

 

they should give terran an upgrade for bunkers, kinda like what orcs get for their burrows and towers in WC3:FT, just boosting armor and hp rather than changing armor type.

 

eh i don't like bunkers THAT much. Late game any defense will go down in starcraft and usually go down without the defense doing any damage if you do it right.

why yes. by using any of those units. Or disruption web. Or carriers.

 

Marines are useful in the late game, I think that´s because in order to expand your base, one bunker full with marines can help a lot. If you combine marines + medics + a few firebats, you can take out big armies.

And it´s funny when you fill the screen with marines... after all, they´re cheap, they can attack air/ground units and also,,, the little stim pack.

2 marines vs 1 bunker

 

put it this way anyone who opts for 2 marines over a bunker. Have 6 marines attack a bunker with 4 marines in it. Guess who wins. The bunkered ones.

 

Bunkers frustrate me when I'm not Terran. I like frustrating others with Bunkers as a Terran.

ive played one game pvt where this bunker had killed over 10-20 dragoons of mine O_O

 

how is that even possible? Was there a bunch of other units there or just one bunker? Because that many dragoons should outright kill a single bunker
