    Dark pylon:

Proton charge: It'll get the macro/pro gamer crowd to quit shouting. Well, not really, but it's nice that Blizzard is trying to address their concerns without bringing back required busywork. Lower skilled/casual gamers don't have to use it, and probably won't.

(I've read hysterical -- in terms of fear -- reports that lower skilled gamers will get repeatedly pwned because their opponents will just spam Proton Charge. That's what AMM is for. And the causal gamers might actually like the game better without doing the busywork.)

The bad news? It's still busywork.

    Calldown Mules

You can Calldown mules anywhere on the map.

Each mule harvests minerals faster than an SCV, and can share the same mineral patch as an SCV! This is very powerful!

Mules can also repair. Because you can drop them anywhere, you could drop a bunch behind mechanical units when a big battle is about to start. Set them to auto-repair and maybe it'll turn the tide of battle to your side.

Bad news: Continually dropping Mules into your expansions is probably still busywork. I rather doubt they can rally to anywhere or automine.

    Calldown Extra Supplies
Permanently boosts the supply depot's supply output by 2 points.
Doesn't seem worth it (in terms of spending energy) but it does save space. Also ... busywork?

    Spawn Larva:
Very powerful if you're not at your control limit and have spare resources. Doesn't directly contribute to economic domination. I think it would take a really skilled macro-style player to get the most out of it, and they may have trouble doing so because their resource balance will always be low. Someone of my skill level will probably rarely use it.
Less cool but probably more balanced than mutant larvae.

I agree that this poll shouldn't have lumped things together, I do for instance like the Spawn Larva, I actually like it a lot, I think it may need to cost a little more energy but will in the end be a good tactical thing to use. Personally I am against the other ideas though. I don't think something as mechanical and automated like mining should be buffed in any way by anything other then more workers.
