    no one said that. its just lots of other games have that, so you confused it with SC. no hard feelings :good:

    I thought that ability was there too, but everyone posted against me. I'm considering reinstalling SC1 to find out.

    I couldn't find reference to it either though. But I will reinstall sometime and find out.

    Edit: Okay i reinstalled SC1/Brood Wars and have downloaded the newest patches etc. There is no Attack Ground ability for Tanks. The Attack Ground ability is present in WC3 and that is most likely the source of confusion.

    maybe scv can carry destoryed rocks and use them to block ramps. lol

    It has been revealed that you can destroy certain terrain elements to "block off" a ramp. im still wondering how is this possible. all i can think of is destroying the ramp itself but it clearly says block off the ramp meaning the ramp is still there(not destroyable). what could it be and how? i hate waiting.

    Someone thought that perhaps on some maps, there will be a large arch over the ramp. After being destroyed, the middle section would collapse and fall to the ground, making an impassable object infront of or on top of the ramp. It would be an interesting idea, but would be very lame if every map just had random arches at the choke of every base to blow up.

    hhmm. archway similar to warcraft. or maybe rocks on the left or right side of ramps, once destroyed it will scatter and form blockades on the ramps. anyway will it be permanent once destroyed? how can you move forces in or out etc?

    and i hope grasses and trees do get burn or destroyed when enemies do battle on it. say a yamato fire on a stalker hiding in tall grass should destroy or burn part of the grass.

    Wow, good idea, didn't even think of burning the tall grass down.

    Did I hear that Reapers might end up with a flame thrower attack? Firebats weren't wonderful in the first game but back then they had limitations on the burning aspect. These days, Firebats could be brutal if the flames spread or stick.

    I'm picturing a pile of boulders for the ramp blocking, like a very noticable stack of rocks off to the sides (perhaps these could be set to form randomly at game start, so some ramps have one or two or none).
