Demo SC2?

of course, Demos helps them also in terms of marketing strategy, so expect a demo for SC2, perhaps somewhere this fall.

 

Do you mean "this fall" as in 2007?

I don't see that happening. Maybe second quarter next year or so.

I need a demo to help me get as many of my friends hooked as possible. Most of them are getting kinda tired of WoW now, but I still need that last bit of something to kick them over the edge. A demo would be the 2% that I need to get them to join me.

 

I cant stand waiting for Sc2 only because my starcraft wont work any more (some type of prblem coded error 01778995600)
and i was just wondering if any of you guys/girls knew when the demo (if they create one ) will come out or be released. And if not released on the internet if it will be attatched with a new game thts coming out or something. owerup:

 

there is no information about that yet, they might release info about that at blizzcon. My bet would be we will see an open beta around febuary next year, demos are usually released after the game is out, so probably around october next year

 

hmmm, tough question i guess i always thought tht it might come out a little earlier then the game ,but the beta best be for everyone or else!!!

People payed like 100 bucks to play the game on some terminals, you aint getting a demo anytime soon, .

 

who in gods name would play 100 bucks to play a demo. they should start saving money for the real game or a better computer. Just looking at Sc2 i can tell the normal computers wont handle it well

 

They don't just pay 100 dollars for a demo. They get that and a beta key. On top of that they get to see pro tournaments live.

I think we will have to wait some months. If the key is only for the beta, then the demo will come a long time after the beta is made aviable for them.

Blizzard would just clear it up in seconds and sue whoever did it for $2 billion.

 

When they have the game almost done. Late 2008 at the earliest, maybe longer.

 

That would kill me. But don't worry. They won't since it's a PC game.
