    I'm quite happy with most of these changes/additions. I LOVE the changes done to the BC, it makes it seem much more like a capital ship. The plasma turrets ability sounds like it could be extremely useful against Zerg, while the Yamato would be more useful for Protoss (as they have stronger, single units). Great additions by Blizzard here.

    Now the one thing I'm disappointed in is with the Mothership. I don't like how it's become just a suped up Arbiter, nor how it lost the Black Hole ability! I'm sure Blizzard could have balanced that out somehow, and I'm quite sad to see it go. I love the new look for the Carriers and how they're back to being the capital ships of the Protoss, and I'm happy with how the Warp Ray was changed to be a DT construction.

    I drool every time I see new stuff from SC2...

    I am new to the site, but not to the SC. I would have to say i am gutted ??? about the mother ship being down graded.....it was so cool before! Also i hope bliz makes Thor's special ability have the greatest range of all ground units in the game. With the radar do you think it will be able to determine the size of enemy units? I mean Zealots from Carriers. Also whats the point in having a planetary fortress that can't attack air units.....or can it? I liked the tempest design. I thought they could have a tech upgrade to increase aerial shields which would mean that it would be the same as a Carrier. That way you could decide based on the situation?

    Anyway that enough for now! :)

    I love the new starcraft look with all the new units and different abilities.

    My worry is that there will be balance issues when the game starts to be 80% completed. It seems like there are way too many possibilities for counter/attack. We have only seen abilities and units from protoss and terrans, and its hard to keep up with all of their abilities. I couldn't imagine what zergs will be!

    My guess is that blizzard is over doing it at first then they'll start eliminating and tweaking to try to balance it out. I am sure that will not be an easy task when you have many fans liking what they see already.

    I actually used a number of website to put it together. Notably: Teamliquids, sclegacy, and of course, the scarmory that you have mentioned.

    But since I thought it was stuff that we could found all over the internet, and all were pretty much similiar, I didn't bother to quote them. But from the looks of it, I may have made an mistake, so I will quote every site that I have used for this.

    Ummm okay, so I have a noobescent sounding question:

    Isn't this the 3rd day into Blizzcon? Is that correct or no? I was wondering why there isn't a wealth of more updates on SC2 or was day 1 all there is to it for SC2?

    Thanks, sorry if this is kind of a dumb question

    Blizzcon was only 2 days, friday (3rd) and saturday (4th).

    I am very happy about all of these changes.

    Motherships needed to be cut back, and even if you can have more than one it's not like you'll ever see TONS of them (they need to charge up their attacks and at 25 supply cost, I doubt people will have more than two or three). The Reapers sound even better to me now, and I'm giddier than a school girl meeting her boy band crush that we can actually build those "Bar" buildings. The flying Starport building sounds like a cool concept, and a fitting one too. Carriers returning is a momentous occasion. Protoss fans around the globe are probably STILL drunk over hearing that. The lack of Reavers is kind of strange but I actually don't think it's a big deal. They were slow and things seem to have a faster pace this time around.

    Finally the Battlecruisers are amazing. Just plain sexy. I can't wait to watch a fleet rip someone a new asshole. Curious about these two new units though, and I want to see the Stasis Orb (I mentioned adding a slowdown effect to a Protoss' attack once, now that I hear this I feel avenged!). Sorry to be a late poster, just read all this today. :D
