Dark Archons making a return?

Hehe...that would be fun if you had a lot of Phase Cannons and Phoenix for protection.

 

Protoss Dark archon symbolized tHAT THE DARK TEMPLAR ARE strong brave and powerful....

 

Dark Archons remind me of the Devil. I guess it's their color.

 

i would like to see at least 2 different archons,

also a high and a dark templar should only be able to merge in a specialized building. the process should be time and resource intensive and the resulting archon should be overwhelmingly powerful.

 

3 different kind of archons would really rock

 

Yeah, 3 Archons much better, so they will know now, that the Protoss are the most powerful, that they can now create 3 POWERFUL ARCHONS.

i think 3 archons wouldnt come to reality coz that will signify the protoss disunity,, ten years of reconcillation finally solved it for the race of protoss to finally accept each of their differences and finally focus on the foes they face.....

do you guys remember a custom mission in broodwar wherein tassadar and zeratul merge to become the ultimate archon?? I guess thats where they figured the concept of making the twylight archon..

and since were talkin bout dark archons i guess from the looks of it theres only a small chance for them to be seen... but although this is just my opinion im still sure that DAs' are gone byebye :bad: but anyway to think of it the twilight archon seems to have inherited more of the hight archons traits than that of the dark archons coz the only skill they have for now is the feedback ability which in my point of view isnt such a bad thing 4d reason that if theyll bring mindcontrol and maelstorm on the TA that would be imba...

yup.. i think so too,, but if DAs are to return then they just better scrap the TA and bring back HAs so that means that that wouldnt happen.. but this is the situation... ive read some thread or site discussing that to get TA = ( DA + TA or TA + TA or DA + DA ) is this true???

 

No, they are not back. Only the twilight archon is there. If u melt 2 dark templar, or 2 high, the result will be the same.

Well... if you look at the pylon that is also red. So perhaps this is just the team color?

Would make sense to me.

 

3 types is too many. Also all of you who are saying how useful feedback was seem to have forgotten the TA has feedback

 

Erch. Team coloured Archons are just pushing it. The Psionic Shockwave seems really out of place among the red Protoss.

 

Yeah they might try changing the attack color to the team color

 

Or keep them blue with the coloured energy streaks rotating around them.

 

I say make the armor the team color since the rings aren't all that noticeable

 

But ireally hope that the Dark Archons, will return in Starcraft2 Hope :upset: :thumbup:

 

i wish they keep feedback and mindcontrol, feelback plain owns and mindcontrol so fun in singleplayer using cheats. play melee with power of 3 armys
