\I like the dimensional gateway idea but perhaps it should be tied to something other than the nexus.  Dimensional Control or Improved Warp Systems would be a good name.

What building would you put it on?
I originally chose Nexi because they are expensive and you generally would have one per base. As for the name if you envision the ability to be more like a Town Portal from WC3 then maybe it should be named Dimensional Recall?

I was thinking a fleet beacon or something high level (and cost vespene) moving your whole army from place to place in the early game seems a bit much escpecially since you already have warp in

I imagined it more as a late game upgrade to the Nexi to give them some purpose your right it would be way OP in the early game. Also when the ability is researchable is really dependent on the version you think should be used.

How would advanced engeniering give an advantage? I´d expect it to decrease build times but why would you choose a base fortifying upgrade for the "Kings of Turtling"?

A build time reducer does sound like a good upgrade

the warp thing could be an entirely different building altogether like a 300min 200gas building used for only that

My argument is that if you have burrowed movement, you could easily (for example) move through the supply depots to the tanks and destroy them. I don't know what doesn't seem logical about my argument of choke points. Even if you have detectors and you see the lings moving through to the high templars you still couldn't kill them all before they get to your templars and kill them off. Your army would be occupied with the majority of the enemy's force and they wouldn't auto target a small group of lings moving past them, and you certainly couldn't manually click on every ling before it's too late.
I don't know, maybe you're right and I'm making too big a deal of it, but I still think it would be OP.

Good idea, but wouldn't this skill be better applied to an unit instead of a whole race? Perhaps restricted to lings. Units should have different behaviors, and this could add individuality to one. Along with Lurker, this would be the only other unit that takes advantage of burrowing for attacking, rather than ambushing and defending.

Well, I like the idea of only lings having this ability. They seem small enough that they can dig their way underground and that way I don't think it would be OP.

this is a good idea, but it's too weak for an uber upgrade, it also need to make terran buildings fly faster and maybe even build slightly faster

    Does this sound better?

    Terran

Advanced Engineering: All Terran buildings gains aditional armor, a small percentage increase in health, the point when they enter the "red zone" is lowered, and Terran buildings can fly faster or are salcagable quicker depending on whether or not the building can fly.

yes that's better, i also like the zergling digging below buildings idea, and how you can burrow supply depots to stop them

i said in an earlier post that unit speed underground should depend on how big the unit is (except the ling who would probably be faster then the other small units becuz the lings good like that :p)
also the lurker would be faster
