Getting back on topic, there's also the small chance that the Zerg will just be released quietly on their website. I know it sounds racist, but it's a possibility.

Yeah, that would be both cool and crappy at the same time. I wish there would be a convention somewhere near where I live, maybe in San Francisco or San Jose.

Yeah, I don't see a need for a convention to release the Zerg.

It's not like it's a huge deal for any other reason that we want it.

The main reason people want Zerg released isn't so that they know they are a playable race in StarCraft2, but to see the new unit designs and mechanics. Protoss and Terran have some seriously sweet new units and mechanics, I really want to know what Zerg's are and how they will differentiate them from the other teams.
