True. And without the queen and broodling, there goes a strat to quickly remove a huge army of tanks in now time al all.

However the broodlord creates broodlings when it fires, so it's going to be like the queen and guardian combined, a huge anti-tank weapon. Plus the can-move-while-burrowed infestors neural parasite could be very much like spawn broodlings if used on tanks, albeit slightly harder to do.

@topic It's not like an Age of Empires 2 wonder, it's not a huge achievement to own a factory.

Or maybe just burrow some zerglins little far from the base and when siege is starting unburrowed them and attack from behind or if you luck from beneath.

    Luck?

U mean lurk? Like lurkers? In hold position? And then bam!!!

Yea, leaving a ling a little ways out of your base to alert you to a push and burrowing banes out side of your base would help with killing off the tanks, but that strategy would be wiped out seen after release because people would get ravens with there group to make a push or get an scanner thingy early on.

But it will be. Fun strat for the first maybe month that SC2 comes out.

Also if they make a FPM in SC2 fairly early on people will be running in with a couple banes to the side of the normal army and bringing them over and killing all of the workers in one shot!!!

Lolz, what a miserable way to gt owned!
You being attacked and have your workers killed off in the attack that was just a trap to get his banes in there. Lol! Haha I win oh wait WTF?!?!? Where's all of my workers?!?!?!?!?!!!!

No i mean you need to be lucky to burrow on place where siege tanks are. But lurkers sound more fun (are they second or third tier?).

When everything else fail zergs do the thing they do best. They rush! So the way to counter tank is air or surprise underground attack.

yea, and or lots of drops and keeping the enemy on there feet.

that would also make them think that if they go on a push then they might get droped in there main or at a couple different spots at once.

and Zerg are the best rushers, but now i think it will be even better with the queen, you would rush for a queen and a pool and go all in with mass speed lings or something.

Aren't queens slow out side the base? Still In original there wasn't nothing that could stop a good rush.

im not meaning use a queen in battle.

i mean for the spawn larvae ability.
that way u can make a few drones as well as keep pumping mass lings like u had 2-3 hatcherys in SC1

the Zerg rush will be the quickest and with the most units in the shortest amount of time out of all of the races.
there won't be any rush that could out rush a Zerg! especialy in numbers.

and don't you start out with 6 drones? there from the start you have a 6 pool already.
of course since they made it so you mine less minerals at a time now it will be slightly slower then if they had more but it will still be the fastest and the most numerous.

also i think if they did a (queen/pool or pool/queen rush) then they could easily come back because they can preserve some troops and mass drones for a while and catch up in eco unless they find them selfs fending off a counter attack.

Looks like I need to learn more about starcraft 2. I forgot about queen ability but I don't understand pool part. Don't zerg produce units with larva only and to get more larva you need hatchery. So what does the number of pools have to do?

    6 Pool

usually refers to building a Spawning pool, once you have a total of 6 Drones, just as 9 Pool means building a Spawning Pool once you have a total of 9 Drones.

Exactly, so some might say a 9 hatch build.

That means you make a hatchery at 9 drones.

Same as a 12 hatch build, you get 9 drons then ovie then 3 more then hatchery.

dont worry about it, I had to go through the same experiences myself.

you will get used to it, maybe not enough to understand 1337 talk, heck I dont understand that and dont really want to, but you will learn.
