the only logical reason i could think of about protoss incinerating planets is that they were guerillas meerly following the zergs pissing them off by obliterating any trails they leave behind, but were not actually capable of facing a few billion zergs head-on, which was what they did to try help the terrans -_- gg

EDIT: the story never said the protoss could destroy planets.....did it!? only incinerate the surfaces

 

The planet killer is probably very hard to use and takes a lone time to prep. If an enemy commander saw one comming, would you not send every unit you can to destroy it?

 

Well first of all you're grounds units are currently being dead, and i'm sure the mothership does not run in by itself and go gung ho on a base. I'm sure if you were noobish enough to do that with no support, the commander would send most of it's units to go. But if you support it with other units, then i'm pretty sure the commander wouldnt' do it unless he thought he could take you on.

 

How a Zerg player I was VSing the other day magically had a Queen when the game started.

And then he called me a hacker when later I killed it with a pack of Stimmed Marines.

i got nuke hacked again today. by some people that i won against with a comp ally in the previous game xD

 

oh god i hate nuke hack. sooo much.

 

What is this "nuke hack" you speak of?

 

basicly once u buy a nuke u can make it launch ANYWHERE on the map. I'm not very sure how it works though but i know a friend who has it.

Damn hackers. I hope Blizzard integrates a better system of weeding out hackers.
