IM sure the range upgrade for it will make it epic, so long as its supported with stalkers and or warp rays..

Colossus are week and fragile. They are easy prey for the air units and even for a small band of units (unless there is a cliff nearby.). They need to be babysited by stalkers and zelots a t all rime just to be useful. And is it that hard to aim their cannon to air?

    wow......
first of all, nor really that fragile. remember reavers?
second of all, the cold vacuum of space would not allow a beam of HEAT (AKA VIBRATING PARTICLES) to use it as a medium. however, i think it would be cool if the colossus could attack the banshee (since it isnt in space and all). anyways, i am a bit disappointed about the colossus' reduction in damage. hmmmmm....i would like the colossus to be like this i guess:

-200 hp and shields (so 200/200)
    - still 23x2 damage (but + 2x2 for each upgrade),has an upgrade for +4 attack, cost 200m200g, req weplvl3
    - a simple AntiAir spell, that momentarily "paralyzes" several air units in the AoE (They can still attack). This ability must be researched, requires 70 energy, colossus starts with 125 max energy, can be upgraded to 150
    - base 2 armor
    -225 min/200 gas

tell me if you like the idea or not

Somehow i feel like im making it too cool :(

Well in battle reports looks like it is easy to kill.
Also it is going to be used on surface of planet not in space so what does vacuum have to with it. And it isn't like first time laws of Physics are ignored in video game.

Well all air craft in SC doesn't need to sit in space! I mean mutas, I guess broodlords could because they would hit sit and shoot lings to kill the enemy but the currupter would have to be the same altitude as air units. Umm...

BC's could be in space but still, same with carriers and most air units.

But if your in space there's gatta be clouds or something blocking your sight, and if there's nothing then there must be no atmosfear and you have to ask your self WTF am I here for!?!?!?!!!

I think the colossus can cross cliffs, small buildings, small armies,Resources, rivers. But he cant cross the big armies or big buildings or something that is bigger than the colossus. And the colossus is very vulnerable vs air units because he cant defend himself and this is the problem of the colossus and the Humans Thor also got this problem vs air units.

Well at least the Human Thor has higher durability, higher firepower and can hit air units 8x5... given its high HP more particularly, you can't really say it has a weakness. Even against many units, it can defend its own much better than a Colossus.

I think the problem is more with the Thor being "too much" than with the Colossus. The latter would have been fine If the Thor were not that powerful.

And if your on a planet that has no atmosphere that you can see the ground and there's nothing blocking it the why the f*** are you there?!?!?

Of course to kick alien butt, but why would aliens be there?
