DId blizzard say the thor was down sized and had lower life?? did blizzard say it was coming from the factory. Last i checked all they sayed was its roles were replaced and the cobra is out. Did they say something different. if so could some body post a link or something i would really love to see it.

I think it should be built with an SCV. With double death and both AA and AG capabilities, you should still have to sacrifice a small portion of you economy to build a group of them. Being able to mass them out of factories sounds too powerful for the terrans since they could take a large amount of damage to be completely killed.

At this point i only think building a thor would work on noobs. so its not like it matters. the thor in the demo has increased built time to just show it off. But its ganna take a long time to really get it up and going so you dont have to be that afraid. Just keep scouting and dont get pushed into a corner by terrans.

There it is. I think his original health was 800? Now it's half. And so on

No, it's life is still 800. 400 to kill it the first time, and another 400 to kill it in it's damaged form.

How nice they made a mini thor. but if they keep him as is his money coast is ganna go up.

... What makes you say he has two health bars? And even if it did, what if 400 was his overall health? Like 200 health for mobility, then 200 real health.

He has 400 life. You have to kill him the first time to go into its damaged mode. The way it's worded, it is impossible to tell if the unit will have 200 + 200 life for a total of 400, or if it will have 400 + 400 life.

oh well. the thor is sounding pritty kick ass as a air counter, just throw some vikings into the mix and u got magic there

It's been said you would have to kill him twice, and he's sitting at 400 health, so the way I interpret it, it sounds like he would have 800 total. I think so, anyways

 

That was what I was thinking. Asuming the 400 life is his base life, not his combined life.

 

If it had two different pools of health that activated after each other, it would survive a nuke. I think that it's just one pool of hp. The reason why the hp is so low right now is because it's more like an allround goliath. It's no longer a tanker ( Although 400 hp is quite good ) , it's an allround heavy fighter.

 

cobra. bring it back just make it darker or something.

 

so you can repair the thor back to whatever and he can get mobile again?
