Cobras are out!

It is quite predictable actually,some other Siege weapons from other RTS are quite capable of anti -air.

 

OK OK he pwnd us, whatever.

 

I also said along time ago that they should give the thor an anti - air attack and make it replace the role the goliath had. Basicly that makes 2 of us .

 

Is the goliath makin a comeback? I would love to see it stompin around sc2! and as for the thor being anti-air? Not my taste, leave the big slow killer to land units

 

I think that the goliath is not in the game.

My first disapointment was with the Mothership but since I'm a Terran player I can live with that.

Then they killed off the Preadator moved the Viking to the starport and revived the Firebat. That made me mad and I refuse to believe that this will make it to the final version.

Now I learn that they made the Thor into a freaking giant but slow ass Goliath. If it is good at lighter units then its slowness will be worthless for everything but defense, practically stationary defense. If it is good at big units then it is still only good at defense and can somewhat partially keep up with the enemy but it is still overlapping with the Viking for capitla ship killer.

SO the crobras are axed, this ant good for terrans... untill we see some new units the terrans are officaly in the hole!

 

Don't worry, man. Cavez said in the same post that the Thor did well against 'several secret Zerg and Terran units.'

So the Terrans still have a few unrevealed tricks up their sleeves. :good:

I say bring back the old terran units and then just add the few good new ones they have come up with. Theres only two units that actually make sense and thats the viking and the thor. everything else seems like those c&c dickwads are messing up the game. We need the original sc team back not some hacks from C&C.

 

I liked the cobra! Thor is too slow for mobile AA and marines get roasted by air too quickly.

I want the Thor to be the big unit that just wades in and torches everything while bullets bounce off it. Like the collosus or archon, but better. Not some giant siege tank.

 

the terrans are somewhat primitive, their land vehicles have to be on the ground by a means of wheels or treads. I purpose a LRV with four wheels that is mounted with a anti medium-armor weaponry. Something like a warthog with a mounted M68 Gauss Cannon from the Halo series.

 

i didn't like this at all.this change was toatlly unecessary.why remove the Cobra ??how on earth can a THOR fit in the same role the Cobra had ??this just doesn't make sense to me,and i really hope blizz knows what they are doing with the Terran...

 

Vultures hovered, and SCVs do too. I don't see what the problem is.

 

What will replace the Cobra?

What can be some of the secret terran units that blizz is keeping from us now?


I say a non siegable tank and a AtA ship + some new infantry possibly

The Thor is in.
