Cobras are out!

no there not they replaced the Cobras in the factory, unless there built by both SCVs and factory witch would make the thor BAD ASS!

 

Aww So the Thor cannot attack ground units or what? I still say Thor be only ground attack not AA I HATE IT!!!! DISAPPOINTMENT!

 

no from what i'm guessing the thor can attack ground and air. the hand guns are for ground and its cannons on its back will insted smash air units insted.

 

Of course the Thor can still attack ground, but I think the Cobras were just right I am sad they are gone but maybe a better unit will come around, now is when I say Terran is lacking at the moment cuz of the Merc Haven shit too.

The Thor is probably the same except they attack air instead of that bombardment thing and once their first line of HP is gone they go into the immobilized stage but are limited to how they attack or what they attack.

I want them to allow the Reapers to come early game.

 

Well... im officially mad at blizzard they are taking out all the cool units, predator, surfer protoss dude, and now the cobra.... they better think of something really sweet for the terran or else i will hate them forever

 

Who said anything about them getting rid of the Cobra?

It's just being replaced in its GTA role... it could still be in the build. In fact, I would bet on it.

 

Even if the cobra was not removed from the game the terrans lost a unit that attacks air. Now tell me thor is a tier 3 unit currect! what about a WarpRay or mutas witch can be easly rushed to..? Thies air units would massacre bases if left unchecked? Can the cobra still attack air or not. If not the terrans are currently screwed for an early air defence.

 

they didnt mention thaat, they did mention it replaced it lore-wise not tech wise, hhm if it would be the same tech it wouldnt require amunitions depot, and i bet it still requires it

if blizzard takes away there ablity to attack air theres not mid armored unit untill thor to take on air. Protoss air might have a field-day with the terrans. If thats the case i'm planning ona warp-ray hassasment tactic when the game comes out

 

There will be an air counter. Let's give Blizzard some credit, no race will have some massive hole in their defence to take advantage of.

 

can we get the vulture back instead? I know they're pretty similar, but... let's just copy/paste it back in, k? Because it was pretty sweet and awesome for micro.

 

Vultures weren't very good, in my opinion. Too limited in terms of uses. And fragile. They were good for mines, and scouting, that's about it.

 

cobra is a semi tank(2 cockpits).. vulture is a motorcycle. lol

cobra>vulture. hell no the vulture will be back.

 

How about a modern Vulture, zeratul?
It could be a very high tech bike.

 

I didn't like the Vulture, but I loved the concept. Motorcycle, Cool. Hovercraft, Cool. Hovercycle?
