    Sorry, but definition 12 is what applies to SC. Pro meaning "an expert player, as of golf or tennis, serving as a teacher, consultant, performer, or contestant; pro." ... I agree with it having roots in being paid to play, but someone who is an expert in a competitive field can be a pro without having to be paid for it.

    If this is true, I should be in good shape. I've been on the internet since 1997 (and I thought I was getting a REALLY late start at that time), I'm 40 but have been living like I'm still in college since I WAS in college, no current girlfriend, no current job....:eek:

    I've done computer repair work for years and am amazed about how many average families are completely clueless about their computers. They know enough to read articles, write emails, and little else. I can see how a noob 50 year old would be totally lost in trying to interpret, much less become a skilled player, at an RTS game.
