Ah, I c, thanks for that, Burkid. That's fair enough, I guess. I was just hopin to squeeze out some alternate ending cinematics, hehe. I swear, Blizzard does the best cinematics ever.

I'm about as excited to see those as I am to play the game. Oh, and does anyone else seem to take notice that during the cinematic trailer, when it cuts to a Templar being kicked for a split second, that the background looks a lot like the one where Kerrigan turns to look at you? Also, the "kick" seems to be done by a high heeled foot?

I think there's a chance we're gonna see one kickass fight between Zeratul and Kerrigan.

 

yeah, there was a thread a while back about that (i think sirbaron started it) it pretty much shows how kerri and zer are in the same area, and zer is blocking kicks from an infested leg that looks very feminine. so yes, i believe that there will be a fight between kerrigan and zeratul.

 

It'll most likely happen...and will quite possibly end up in the death of one of our beloved characters :upset:

Well, back on topic, I really am liking this idea a lot....the units and upgrades ability when you're on the ship I like very much...give a strategical value to the game. I wonder what the Toss and Zerg ones are gonna look like?

 

how gay would it be if zeratul actually died in that scene

 

either death or the Xel are gonna bust in in the middle and kerri and zer will be like "oh shiz" and start kicking some ass. together. then go off and defeat the xel'naga. then resume fighting.

toss will probably be on a MS or carrier, and you will probably be artanis, and it could be resources rather than money.
Zerg... i have no idea.

 

I can see the Zerg being in some slimy den type thing where you control kerrigan..ewwwwww

 

well i was thinking it might be on some form of ship so its mobile (lol in an overlord)
it could be on a behemoth (the giant manta rays in wiki that is supposed to be a heavy assault transport for zerg that can hold bases on its back.)

This has the potential to be completely ground breaking and the most immersive, immense single player campaign experience ever. Hopefully they'll do it right. I'm disappointed to see Jim has a new voice; and Zeratul's I kind of liked, even though in the original his voice was one of my favorites. I can't wait to see the Xel'Naga... I knew they'd show up. What the hell is Samir Duran going to be up to this time around? I guarantee we see some hybrids. God, the graphics on all of that was just so incredible... I hope there are actually REAL missions though and it doesn't end up being just 500 so-so ones. Epic battles between all the races... I'm looking forward to it. I loved the unit purchasing idea, although I hope this is a Terran only idea since they're low on funds. They could change it up and mess around with it to make it suit all the races, but I don't think it'd be as good that way.

 

well protoss arnt doin too well either on funds, seeing as how they had to rebuild their entire civilization after the destruction of auir.

well he sounds different. but after a few minutes of hearing him talk it grows on you.

 

It's funny you mention how Tychus speaks slowly. Also notice his gangster hand gestures, I guess you can't really notice with the big Marine glove on but... I love how it seemlessly (apparently) changes from just normal game detail to a polished up cinematic detail using the engine itself, check out zeratul part and the part where he talks to Swann and you'll notice.

I cant wait to see Tychus and Raynor from the sky down in game and shit.

i love how tychus waves his hand right when they start talking. it makes me laugh.

 

Am I the only one who think it's qiute sad that Zeratul looks like he ain't gonna survive much longer in that end scene?

Also, the thing about buying for the Terran, I imaging that the Zerg and Protoss won't have to, but they might have some other gimmick... I mean, the Protoss being poor trying to get money to buy upgrades? I don't really see that happening

Anyway, just my 2 cent.

 

the 'buying' is a terran thing only, protoss will probably have something like, go to this distant planet to reactivate the mighty collosus. Zerg could be, capture a horde of monstous creatures for infestation.

 

I think Protoss are going to find hidden cache's and rally more Protoss, I don't think they revolve around currency, because they're more single-minded as a race. So... more soldiers, and caches of weapons like the Colossi are, im guessing be what they do. Afterall, its in the Colossi's description.

Zerg will probably get minerals or something to evolve into new beings... like wise they can get missions to take over planets and AFTER they do, they assimilate a race and make a new unit... this would only work for new units because they've already had Zerglings, and whatnot...

I don't think Zeratul will die that early on, if that is early.. they could have gotten a mission a quarter into the game. Anywho, I don't think they made that amazing model and not have it go out with a bang. Plus, isn't he some leader of some people or something?
