its easier if i could draw it, but the 1+1 is the 2 sides of the window and the + is the plus that people commonly put in window drawings, then the = is the top and bottom.

kinda like 1+1=

if there we're ice on the drinks, then there was poison on the ice. both should have died but the man who was in a rush gulp down his drink, not giving the ice a chance to melt. so the first man didn't get to drink the poison. since the second man drank slowly, the ice had melted on his drink, thus, he drank the poison with it and died.

its because
its first 1
so you say one time the 1 => 11
than you say 2times the 1 => 21
than you say one time the 2 and one time the 1 => 1211

well, for example:

since there is only the number 2, you coun that number. so:

there is one 2. so it should be as follows:
