one of them flashes the flashlight through the whole bridge
10 mintue and 5 minute cross= 10 minute

ok heres my new puzzle but because im poor i can only give  owerup: for if you get it right
2x  owerup: for the first with correct answer

a man is on a journy with a cat, a bird, and a sack of seed.
he comes to a river and finds a boat
now this boat will only hold him and 1 of his items to cross the river (ex the cat)
if he leaves the cat and bird together with him not around the cat will eat the bird
if he leaves the bird and seed together with him not around the bird will eat the seed
how can he get to the other side with all his items intact (not eaten)?

now this is logical not a riddle

RULES: no edits, first person correct wins.

EDIT: Also Mc2 has graciously given me 300 minerals to give to the person who gets this correct
But unfortionatly i have to give myself a 100 mineral bonus hehe
....Mc2 when did you get over there? i was just kidding really im giving them 300 minerals really!

ok about the smartness of the animals,
the bird and cat are super stupid other then knowing they will get the $&!+ beat out of them if they eat one of the others while the man is around and thats why they dont....

but why not? the cat wouldnt eat the seeds
do they all have to cross the river? and only via the boat? or just the man has to cross and all of them, crossed or not, has to be ok

if you want you can powerme down and ill give back the minerals for all i care. i only spend my minerals on other people and i was trying to get power-downs till zeratul didnt listen and kept powering me up =/. but the torch question not only have i done it in high school with different numbers for so many times but it was even posted on this forum sometime lol.
