I should think that it would be possible. I will do my best to get a thread up in the next couple of days. Just so that we can start adding and changing, and with any luck by release time have a few really solid builds and affordable builds.

 

For 650$ you can get a computer that comfortably maxes Crysis on highest settings and resolution from pre-built PC companies. Therefore, maxing Starcraft 2 with 500$ of your own equipment would not be hard at all.
