    .... Poor Tom Kazansky got replaced by a little lady :'(. Oh well....

    I had originally thought SC2 was going to be the basic units of each race and then completely redone.... I hope that is pretty much what SC2 is....

    Keepers:

    T = Tank, Marine, SCV
    Z = Hydra, Ling, Muta
    P = Zealot, Carrier, Corsair

    I dont like them taking out the reaver. Reaver drops were fast and lethal and could ignore turrets. Now walking a colossus to the enemys workers without getting noticed or wasted its going to be impossible. I also think (just belive) that the colossus wont fit in a prism. Lastly the stalkers wont be good for a late game worker harassing, since minerals can be guarded by immortals, tanks, whatever. all of them own stalkers even with blink. Terran has like 5 ways to harass workers, both early and late game. Protoss have none.

    No, the predator is the new wraith, the banshee is a ground attacking valkyrie with cloak

    corsair? thats not a keeper.

    Corsair has been replaced i thought...
    did they scrap the transformer for the terrans as well?

    Looks like the protoss have the either build 2 different buildings for HT and DT. As a result, a DT rush will leave a Protoss missing HT. Likewise, a Protoss that rushes to get High Templars will not have DT until the alternate building is constructed.

    To me, they are making the terrans the ultimate anime mecha fighting force! I will love the terrans now, Robotech will live again! Ooops. Forget this last sentence.

    Well, if we're going by names, then the Banshee would seem a fitting update to the Wraith, and the Viking a fitting update to the Valkyrie. I don't think Blizzard would have made those names so similar on accident.

    but based on function, they are completely different.

    Viking fires two, strong missiles at one air target
    banshee fires many small missiles at multiple ground targets.
    and havent seen predator yet so im not sure how it attacks.

    Im happy, love the carrier. But removing the revears is sorta bullsh1t- No more reaver drops lol... :upset: Stop Tezing me!! lol

    If you watch the single player campaign vid you see the pred as one of the choices for what he can purchase before going into the mission. From the tiny little icon it definitely had influences from the wraith and that def makes me happy.

    I agree. It sounds like a lame excuse that is basically saying "This unit isn't balanced, so you can only have one at a time." Of course, it was only a matter of time before Blizzard realized that and fixed it. :thumbup: Maybe that is why they hesitated to put the Mothership on the official site, and put up the Twilight Archon instead.

    Actually, the only 1 unit makes a good deal of sense, especially when you consider the unit they are bringing in.

    In CnC it was just like, here is a powerful one of unit that could be duplicated....but no.

    From a storyline perspective, all the Starcraft units make sense. Or at the very least, each unit has a good history/reason for being there.

    In sci-fi stories, motherships are definitely one of units, its the main HQ, military base, everything a race needs, for the whole RACE. Not the colony, the race. I really liked the idea of the unit as showing that the Protoss, after losing Aiur and being pushed on the ropes, are desperately throwing a last effort in every battle.

    And then....they nixed blackhole >< We dont need a large vulnerable arbiter!!!!

    Yeah i also don't like the changes they have made to the Mothership.
    It was so awesome at first.

    But alot of people compained about the disign of the Seige Tank, so if alot of people will complain about this i hope Blizzard will change it back. Blizzards listens to their fans, dont forget that. And the Mothership is still not officially added to the sc2 site.
    So lets hope for now :thumbup:

    Protoss and Terran, have most of their units done. Doesn't this mean...Zerg is coming up very soon?!?!?!

    Why can't everyone find a happy medium with the Protoss Mothership?

    I'm sure Blizzard will make its psi requirement insane, so you could probably only realistically have 3-4 without completely decimating any army you have.... So using a correct combination of units would only let you have 1-2, 3 at most.

    Although Blizzard dropped Terran units in bunches, we can't conclude that those are going to be the final units. I believe that the Terrans that we know now will be dramtically different then the Terrans that is going to be for the final game.

    Just take a look at the Protoss back in May and the Protoss that we know right now. It's a huge change.
