Blizzard will be at GDC 08

I can't wait to see the zerg. It will be awesome to see what units they get.

It will be interesting to see what new strategies people post in the zerg section once the new units are released.

 

From what I have heard this conference seems too specialized for a Zerg announcement...

That said, the time period seems appropriate and I could be wrong! Protoss were released last May and Terrans were three months later. It has now been four months and still no Zerg, which means if there is any sort of time table a showing should be iminent.

 

Well, I for one think Blizzard is putting together the Zerg release.

But I saw posted on another forum that someone thought the Zerg may be released in the next Blizzcast episode (assuming they move to a video format rather than just audio-only).

I think that would be the best way to release the Zerg at this point. They could have an hour long video if they wanted and still get people to watch the entire thing.

Since sc2 was anounced, so about 8-9 months now.

i really hate how blizzard likes to tease us with hints of information . They do it every game. Maybe its our faults.

 

Yep, they know it suckers us in, so they keep doing it. Watch them decide to release the zerg units one by one, and then have the vid.

I hope they get the zerg video done and show it soon, I want to see how my favorite race in sc1 looks.

 

I remember when we are all expecting it to be around October or at least before the end of 2007, oh how we were wrong.

That haven't released any new info on the game in a while either. So hopefully they will have a lot to show us at GDC on February 18. We have been long over due for some nice new info on the game.

Wednesday's speech is based on Future of MMO, so I am assuming there won't be anything SC2 related.
However Thursday's speech is about Blizzard's approach to Multiplayer Game Design. Perhaps, we might learn something new about SC2 on Thursday?

Hopefully, Blizzard doesn't disappoint us and release nothing at GDC.

I am not expecting anything Earth Shattering like the release of the Zergs. I'm just hoping for new screenshots or perhaps a small piece of video demo.
