Blizzard Petition for Open Beta

Actually, to counter this argument just on a point of interest:

The game is quite fun unbalanced! Blizzard could release right now and it would be 100x better than Age of Empires.

 

I just signed it. I am number 38

I want to test Starcraft 2 too. Could Blizzard send a demo of the beta is enough.

The best game comes from the help of the fans.

 

If it's fun unbalanced, imagine how fun it'd be when they'd resolved all those issues. Seriously, they shouldn't be rushed or pressured that this stage. Just wait at least until it's all pretty much finalised before asking them to release open beta.

 

I've warned you people before to stay out of the razor blade section unless you are wearing protective clothing.

Back on a more serious note (despite the fact it has already been derailed) I don't think we need a beta quite yet. They make tweaks constantly so they can't make any kind of beta till it has stabalized. Also you have been waiting for a year now. You can wait another. it won't kill you

 

we have been waiting for 10 years already, so .... 10 more years you know .... they will not kill us.

Of course this game needs to be balanced. I hope the release of the beta will come for Christmas of this year. They don't need one more year for balance normally.

 

Age of Empires.....omg, I think I just realized that you did NOT compared Age of Empire to Starcraft.

Yeah now I'm pretty sure they are not in the same sentence. The more I look into this post I can gradually see the name Age of Empire disapear from existance.

SC2 will be great <3 let them take their time, Closed Beta no demo. I'll wait for quality

 

If they release the game soon, I mean in one year, the game will not be balanced, and we will get masses of patches just after the release.

How many patches exist for Starcraft ? 20 ? More ? All that even after ten years ! So starcraft was released and not balanced, and then there were patches until now.

Hope Starcraft 2 will be far balanced. Indeed the patches must be created for graphic bugs, etc ....

Since when did beta = hackfest? I can name many beta's where proper security measures were in place. Now EXPLOITING is another matter.

 

And open betas are used to fix exploits and bugs. hah.

WTH are u talking about antil they will release the game people will start geting crazy i cant wait to open beta we wana fell the game and look wth is going on ther not baaaaaaaaaaaaaam ther u go full game go buy wth if they will give as the beta or demo just to see what is going on in the game thet will be awesome and not wait more some time and die antil they will release the game soo if they will give as the demo we will know what wating for as and not watching the videos or read about what new in the game its start to be booring we wona play!!!! alredy starcraft 1 has the demo warcraft 3 has the demo to so why they will not give starcraft 2 demo!?@#
