yeah you can get i think 4 per merc haven then have to wait a minute before you can get more.

 

Why merc haven? They arnt mercs, they are convicts. Should be a prision or something of the like.

 

Damn, I went on vacation right when Blizzcon started so I'm waaaaaay behind. But anyways, I think Reaper rush could be a viable tactic. Build 2-3 Merc Havens and pump Reapers from them. 12 Reapers in two seconds. It would be a great worker hunt.

 

oh cool. U can get reapers at both the merc haven AND the barracks? that would amass quite a large force, if i do say.

 

no, you can only get them from the merc haven.

I dont like the idea of reapers being recruited in a mercenary bar. Reapers are supossed to be the most bad ass convics of the galaxy (sys blizzard), they are taken straight from prision from brutal training in dontrememberwhere, not recruited in a cantnina...

 

I thought that was what a marine was...

 

reapers are the more baddass guys that can't go to the normal prisons... check out their info at starcraft2.com.

 

i agree. the merc haven is plain silly and CRAP. change it. a high facility recruit center or something is better. the bar is a JOKE. it sucks and funny. and starcraft is not a joke.

 

Make it a prision. Or a concentration camp or whatever.

 

I like the idea of a bar. Where do you purchase hardcore reapers that have already been trained and your not an official military commander? The bar, of course, after you buy them a round of drinks.

 

yea right im going to go into a bar where there are hard core ciminals being a dog of the state and buy a round of drinks then bring up "hey guys want to risk your lives to fight the most dangerous creatures in the galaxy"

 

Yeah, it's much better to recruit them from a concentration camp or prison. Say, a SC version of Guatanamo Bay.

 

I remember there was a "detention center" in the american buildings of C&C Generals that got later removed because it was "politically unpolite".

 

Its more like.... hey I will buy you a round of drink (insert pill into drink)

If its a hot chick you take her to a motel room when she falls to sleep.

If its a harden criminal they wake up the next morning and you say, "Thanks for joining my army as a Reaper."

The next response to either of these two situations is (from the person who got drugged and drunk), "Not again!"

 

I wish that the marines didn't consist of reprogrammed criminals. Anyway since this is the case, I guess I like the idea of the merc haven... coz it amuses me. ;D

 

see everyone is "joking" about the mech haven.

see any terran gameplay with the mech have on it. its just so out of place. it SUCKS!
