Bioshock!

I got it the day it came out and it's everything they said it would be. 9.7 out of 10 is a good score because it shows that the game is so close to perfect and just when you think it is the perfect game... you remember it's not Starcraft 2. but it is a VERY sic game and I very much recommend it.

 

i liked the part they can press the juice out of an eyeball its just too good to be true...
9.7 huh?so whats with the other 0.3? Did they even explain why they did gave it a perfect score?

I played this game for 5 minutes and its almost the best FPS ive ever played... too bad it won't have any multiplayer capabilities... shame would have made a great multiplayer game.

 

Is it scary like it is?cause I have to wait until the end of my exam to buy it...23days to go...phew.

 

This game looks completely awesome. The chances of me getting it once i lay my hands on a proper console are like... huge.

 

Okay, I just got it, and damn, it's one of my favorite games after Starcraft, Halo, and Half-life.

 

That must suck. You're missing out a lot. If you lower mouse sensitivity, then it might help, but if it's too low, you probably can't play that well.

 

I wouldn't so much call it scary as disturbing, as in the philosophical sense, or psychological, whichever you prefer.

 

I've been through Bioshock once, and of all the cool strategies you can come up with for taking down enemies, I found myself spending quite a lot of time with the the combo introduced in the very beginning of the game: electric shock+wrench. I mean, both my shock and my wench-wielding abilities were improved by the end, but I still used them quite a lot.

The game's atmosphere was, for me, only scary in the very beginning because I was totally helpless. Later on the effect is more... "what a screwed-up place this is" and "holy crap, this character is deeply insane." On occasion, I would get "what were the developers smoking when they thought of that?!" but that's a mark of a good game... if you think about it.

 

I loved this game and seriously think it is the best FPS of all time.

I agree with 10-Neon that it was only really scary in the beginning, but the whole effect the developers created with flickering lights, blood and death all around, creepy sounds, hearing enemies before you see them, etc., was amazing. The weapons were sweet, the plasmids were even better, and the whole idea behind the genetic mutation was revolutionary. Awesome, awesome game.

 

Really this is a shooter based more on story and immersion than the actual shooting aspect. But it was still really fun.

 

Now that I beat the game on medium, I think I am going to start a hard game. Right now.

 

the only m rated game im gonna be able to get is call of duty 4
and only because of its ability to change blood / corpse amount

although i might be able to get crysis just because it isnt that violent

Bioshocks an amazing game AND.. it was game of the year I love all the plasmid abilities and gun upgrades

 

What computer do you have? Because 99% of computers in this world can't run this game.
