Beta Ends Soon

From what I read it'll basically be 2 things.

1. Optimising the game so it basically people get more fps.
2. Getting the OS X client to run as well as the windows client does.
I know Blizzard is in talks with people from ATI and NVIDIA. As on some of those people are testing SC2 as well so their feedback can help Blizzard optimise the game better.

I know beta gets taken away from us so we're all raging, including me lol.
But I'm sort of looking forward to getting SC2 driving home and installing it and getting some surprises. New things that I haven't seen in Beta. Should be pretty fun, what fun would it be to have the same exact game you played in Beta?
I dunno about you but I like some surprises, anticipation is great too. You guys know what I mean if you waited for Modern Warfare2 for months like I did

 

Hopefully the software changes include fixing compatibility issues with certain Sound Blaster cards

 

if you dont mind me asking, what exactly are sound cards for?

 

...so your computer can output sound...

although most motherboards have that function integrated because it's relatively simple.

So there will be more beta just before the game is released.

 

how come my log in screen says time has been added to my account and it says june tweenty something would be the cut off date for me. whats that suppose to mean?

When they say beta is gonna be back a couple of weeks before the releae do they mean early July ish? And this might be a silly question but once the game is out and we buy it do we have to remove everything from our computers that invovles sc 2 and the beta before installing the actual game o.o?

 

blizzard generally doesn't half-*** its software, so i doubt you'd need to uninstall the beta to install the game.

and the "second beta" is probably purely for balance only and maybe last minute bugs. balance doesn't take too long, a few weeks is all they need prior to releasing the game.
