Best RTS

How come? I've played it on XP many times.

I enjoyed the C&C Generals. The campaings were weak but skirmish was cool.

 

Company of Heroes. Hands down. I don't even have to think about it

 

idk...when i try to install it it says that it requires windows 95 or 98

 

Total Annihilation Core Contingency... ZOMG BLOWING UP ROBOTS WAS SO MUCH FUN! Man ud get these huge long range guns called Buzz Saws or Vulcans and just blast everything to hell.. They each required 10 nuclear reactors but w/e XD. Also the airplanes actually flew like airplanes and fired like airplanes.. they didnt hold still and shoot they moved at shot at the same time!

 

Well I liked warhammer 40k other than red alert and sc...I think THQ really makes nice games too,other than Blizzard that is.

 

@Paragon, d00d, I've only played that game for like, 10 minutes and it was on some low low setting but it STILL looked ungodly amazing. I wants it.

I'm with Dreadnought, but for a diffrent reason.

TA had more mods then any game anywhere. Want a unit? Someone has made it.

1. Stronghold original (2 sucked)
2. Empire Earth 2 (Havn't played the original and i hated the demo for 3)
3. Rise of Nations (Havn't played rise of legends)

hmm tough choice aside from the obvious (brood war all the way) I would have to say Age of Empires II it's just a classic. (I can't say that I have been impressed by very many RTS games in fact i only really enjoyed WCIII StarCraft and AoE)

 

what did y'all think of AoE 3
i reckon it was a pretty good game
probably not as good as number 2 but still a solid game
it even had hero type units in it
