Battlereport 2 - Blizzard Hiccup

I'm excited to see the Nighthawks in action!

I cant wait to see all the zerg units in action. I'm still a little upset they never did a zerg unit introduction video like they did for the terrans and protoss(vids describing each unit in detail, including abilities, strengths, and weaknesses)

 

I agree with you, EonMaster. I have those Protoss and Terran intro videos on my computer and when I am bored I watch them, followed by the Zerg 'trailer' and the first Battle Report. It's interesting to see how the game evolves, but I am definitely disappointed that there was no full-out Zerg video like the Protoss and Terran had.

Hopefully the Battle Report being released at the "end of the week" means on Thursday as opposed to Friday or Saturday, since I'll be at a conference this weekend and will have to wait even longer to see it!

 

Karune stated it should be out this week.

It's strange they would put something on the web then take it down...

Perhaps the game video was made, but later realised that it contained content we're not supposed to see, so it didn't get its rubber stamp, so they pulled the map from the web that had been prepared, and are now making the video again, or are editing it.

Judging from the first one, I tend to think these battle reports are designed from the outset, with both players knowing exactly what's going to happen. The play in that first one was too clean imo. It looked scripted.

 

We could see some awesome new tweaks of Battle Report 2!

I skipped class because I thought it would be out when I woke up!
No actually class was canceled.

But i'm literally antsy now just thinking about the zerg-spasm i'm gong to have.

But that was with all of the old stuff. Now we get to see all recent changes. Also, the balance will be a lot better, plus we get to see a new map. A very good one, I must say. -already read the transcript, and it works out great-

And yes I'm excited! To see a High Quality video based on zerg other than the announcement, and to see their new mechanics and unit models!

Haha! I thought for a second that the Battle Report had been released while I was on my Spring Break vacation from home. I was pissed .. then I read about Blizzard's mistake and I was even more pissed. Oh well ...

Also, does this forum not have a spoiler warning tag? It should if it doesn't.

It should be. A lot of other forums do that. I know BlizzForums does it.

Im also exceptionally excited. I thoroughly enjoyed the previous battle report.

 

It will be released by the end of this week. Be patient all. 2 days left. On Friday I think.

On battlereport 1 there were just a couple of units, not every known ones like the Viking.

 

I think it will be thursday. More staff available if anything goes wrong. And maybe they will update the site along with the report. Maybe.
