Battlenet ranking system?

    yer i saw it on something its the battlenet thing were you gotta pay to watch it. theres is like 10 ranking sytems on each game type like 1v1 2v2 3v3 etc. there is a beginner rank were you play begginers and if you are better you get promoted and the highest rank is gold were all the pros will be so you can play people online with the same abilty as you.

    I love this new system. Are we going to see the names of the players of each rank? I wonder how many players per rank there's going to be. This is really interesting.

    From what I understand they will also tie up your skill level with your battle.net account. So essentially smurfs will be gone. No matter how many accounts you create, the game will know the ratings of your other accounts and factor them in when searching. So you'd have to buy multiple copies of SC2 to actually smurf... in which case you are so sad you probably deserve some wins.

    You'll still create multiple accounts that are independent of each other in every other aspect, you just won't be able to fool the game's matchmaking engine with them.
