i think the current cool down is about 3 seconds, so don't actually need to reduce damage as cool down is doubled

 

Has anybody wondered why scourges are so effective against scouts and wraiths but not battlecruisers?

 

yeah, because bc's attack is instant and it also kills a scourge in one shot

 

yeah, if you have 2 or 3 bcs for each scourge coming, you would shoot them down as they come

 

How abut a swarm of scourges? ;D

I just want to put this in. I really find plague very effective against BC's.

 

I honestly hated plauge because there was nothing you could really do to stop it or reduce the effects of it as Protoss

 

That's why it's a great support skill for the zerg.

 

I think its just a bit much

 

Send 60 scourges at 10 battlecruisers and it becomes hilarious.

Seriously, wouldn't it just be better to put your money in mutas and devourers?

But when you change the battlecruiser attack to scout like, then sending 60scourges at 10 battlecruisers and viola! The scourges probably pwn the battlecruisers (if their AI is smart)

 

did u guys check out the new carrier unit, on the starcraft 2 original site... it has the action clip featuring 3 carriers atacking 1 bc and that bc manages to destroy 1 carrier using only standard atack(not yamato) it takes out its shield in like 3 shots if its actualy from the game it looks like the bc-s main guns can deliver 40-50 dmg per voley unles they have weekend the carier which is wery unlikely

the battle cruiser will be a major threat to immortals since they shoot lots of small lasers that most likely do separate damage below 10..
marines and reapers will of course be the main immortal counter, but it feels good that battle cruisers dont need to worry about them. I know that immortals cant shoot air (although not final, as most things), but a good protoss player just ignores the battle cruisers minor damage and still destroy those siege tanks you got.

Btw, how much damage do you think that the banshee missiles will do? They could be Immortal counters too.
