The 'Colossus' is yes, but the 'Infestor' isnt!? Normally 'Zerg' lategame is 'Hive'. The 'Infestor' isnt higher tech than the 'Lurker' or the 'Mutalisk' right now is it? (requites 'Lair' and 'Nydus Worm Cavern' or what its called). So the Infestor is middlegame. This means that Zerg has no lategame imba caster like the defiler - but perhaps one of its abillities requires 'Hive'.

I am a Zerg player, and still, it does not make sense to mind control Colossi or other Robotic units.... As it did not make sense in SC1 to consider a Siege Tank a biological unit that could be turned into broodlings....

If using Spawn Broodlings on a Tank doesn't make sense then neither does using Spawn Broodlings on a Marine. In both cases there's a man at the center, surrounded by metal that Spawn Broodlings can penetrate.

    re

Enjoyed it very much. 2 thumbs up for me. SC2 is definately going to be tougher to play than 1.

I'm thinking it will probably be a bit easier to play, but with more variety overall. Especially in matchups like ZvZ, where things tend to be a bit too predictable.

Eh, it kind of annoyed me how heavily the game relied on little tricks, like a few nullifiers and stalkers holding out against impossible odds just with a couple force fields and blinking the weak ones out of the way. Or a handful of banelings destroying 5x their cost in enemy units.

Sure, the protoss probably could have gotten detectors not too long after the zerg got burrow, but what could the zerg really have done to counter stalkers and nullifiers so early in the game? Tech to burrow and hide a lot?
