I hope the Battle Report is "officially" released soon; I'd like to download the super-high-quality version that Blizzard puts on the Starcraft II website already.

Neural parasite the Warp Prism and bring him closer. Would have gave him a bit of time. But he would have eventually lost :(. Sucks that Zerg never wins.

the Queen can be built when the Spawning Pool is finish, cost 150 Minerals, some places say it cost a little gas(50-100) others say it doesnt cost gas at all, it starts off with the Spawn Larva ability and the Create Creep Tumor ability, there is an upgrade on the Lair that gives it its final ability, the Razor Swarm, think weaker Psi Storm thats able to move around a bit. You can have as many Queens as you want(limited by Overlord / supply # of course), they are able to attack both air and ground(damage is between 10-18), and they move very slowly off Creep.

100 Minerals and 0 Gas, yes thats right, the zergs are able to build Zerglings, Banelings, Roaches, Overlords, and maybe even Queens with no Gas at all(except the needed gas to build the buildings that unlocks the Roaches and Banelings, the Roaches Den and the Banelings Nest respectively, both of which require only need the Spawning Pool last I check, tho the Roaches might have been buffed to Lair level since the Hydralisks have been broght back down).

its good, I'm going to download the HD version when released. All these are obviously staged where the payers a told to focus specific ability. in the first video the protoss never used the force field and in this one they use it heaps.

In the second video the zerg never used the mind control on the terran which would have been good against those hunterseaker ships (which were used allot in that vid too)

still I cannot wait for the game.

Nope, I definitely meant to make a fool of myself.

The source is my poor memory? I decided to cut myself off from SC2 news for a while as the lack of it and time before release was beginning to tire me. As were most of you people as well. Aholes....

But yes the sig is there for a reason sometimes.

Best BR match yet and it was clear who was the better player in this match, the Zerg player did very effective moves with the banelings and the infestors though he did a 3rd hatchery quite late, similar to BR2, maybe because of the aggressive strategy that the Protoss was pulling off? But anyway, the Protoss player was pretty much a better player than the Zerg player and that Zerg guy was still good and challenging against the Protoss player. (David Kim has won every matches so far......)

The game does seems to offer SEVERAL extra alternatives regarding to strategy and stuff compared to the first one. That's cool :)

This Battle Report was a snooze fest.

Exceptions: Probe at the start, Stalker Blink use, Infestor mind controlling.

I didn't like this one... Too fast paced, no end game units seen yet, I don't think the Zerg should have mind control. And I am a Zerg player! Mind control should stay with more psionic beings, like the Protoss, or even the Terran Ghost. Those nulifiers Force Field look terrible, to say the least. And I didin't unterstans what they do, in fact... is it just a wall? Does it damage units?
Another thing, that gravital thing, was that a Fenix casting that? Don't fit that fighter at all to have that ability....
Ohhhh, and i HATED the Multiple Queens....
    But I loved the Map...
Well, that is my opinion on this BR ;-)

The Infestor and Colossus are both late game units.

It's just a wall. But in the right hands this early middle game unit can do powerful things. The Force Fields last long enough for a battle to end.

    Yes.

Protoss players can make multiple Obelisks (which cast Proton Charge), and Terran players can build multiple Orbital Commands (which can call down Mules), so without multiple Queens the Zerg macro mechanic would take considerably more time to balance, or perhaps even be impossible.

I have to admit that the multiple Queens looked funny and a bit out place. Then again, it makes complete sense on a gameplay standpoint.

You know, I was thinking that for the next Battle Report, Blizzard should spend a little less time detailing the map and a little more time watching early builds for the players. While I acknowledge that map knowledge certainly helps, I am much more interested in gameplay.

Also, in three Battle Reports we have yet to see any real air battles going on. Nor have we seen a significant number of units at all, including Zerg air, Lurkers, Ghosts, Vikings, Siege Tanks, Battlecruisers, Carriers, the Mothership, and High/Dark Templar.

I really wouldn't care if Blizzard had to super-stage the next Battle Report so long as they showed some of these things!

i have to dissagree. actually, if anything the zerg should excel in mind control tech. if you think about it the zerg is somwhat of a alien insect/parasitic race. ind if you look at other games like dead space, RE series, etc you will see that the enemies are basically taking over another "hosts" body in order to survive and using that "host" for there own gain. all of which is done through a parasitic insect like creature and was also based on a real life parasite that takes over other insects minds to control them. the zerg should be no diffrent since this principle is basically based off of the same concept. if anything the neural parasite should gain complete and permanent control rather then just 10 seconds. or even kill off the host after that 10 seconds is up just like the real life parasite does.

as for the force field thing, ya its basically just a wall to block off units. for a pro league player that can come in handy and in very good use with some good micro im sure.

agreed. I want to see tons of different units battling it out, and I want to see a basic build order.
