Battle Report 2 Follow-Up Questions!

    I think rushing to get a planetary fortress in the early game is going to have significant disadvantages though as well even though it will make your mineral line near impervious to early raids.

    -150 minerals / 150 gas is nothing to sneeze at when in the early game a couple units can make a huge difference.

    - You're also essentially delaying an Orbital Command too, which in the early game could be very useful for comsat scouting any hidden enemy strategies, early detection, and using mules to speed up your macro.

    -It's useless if the enemy does not get within range of it, and it's going to be at the back of your base, so they can still do things like set up a contain or hit any buildings outside the PFs range.

    arrggg... my previous post disappeared so i'll repost. :) I feel that the PF does not need to be any stronger because it may just become OP, not in the sense that it cannot be taken down (like the mothership, it can be taken down with strategy) but because I don't see any improvements/competition from the base defences of other races (especially the protoss). Until now, they only have photon cannons. Im happy about zerg defenses being able to move though.) :) Lastly PF is relatively easy to access early in the game.
    Im eagerly waiting for mothership updates btw; I don't like its current abilities. :(

    I'm really happy about the hyrda having a melee attack even if it is just cosmentic.
