Kudos Tychus. I am very happy to hear that they (Blizzard) is making Bnet2.0 free. I can hardly wait for the Protoss campaign although doing politics in a war game does not sound that appealing I just want to play it because as it is the final release campaign of the three and it will end the final chapter (unless they do an expansion which I doubt). Anyways that is getting off topic and I just want to say again, thanks for the info on the subscriptionless Bnet2.0 I am very relieved at this new development.

  2. Kudos? Awesome! Are those as useful as SC2F minerals?

I sure hope so! Hey they may be more valuable than Vespin gas!

  4. Let's hope so because SC2F minerals are pretty useless :D I've got stock piles of them and don't know what to do with them :D

  7. Who cares about minerals? I'll give 80,0000 if someone PMs me, just because I don't care.

People love to spend money. Thats really what all this is. There are just people who feel like if they are not spending money on a game subscription that the game is not a real game. I call it the MMO complex. People pay for MMO's, some people continue to pay for MMO's even after they stop playing them just because they feel the need to be paying for a game! Its a real sickness. Some people in their late teens and early 20's dont understand the value of the dollar are seeing paychecks with bucks they have never had before and they just wanna spend it because they feel they are special and better than people that are pinched for cash.

If Blizzard imposes any fees for battlenet, its just pure greed and nothing more.

  10. I've never heard so much utter bull **** before in my life.

You honestly think people pay for an MMO even if they're not playing it? You honestly think paying extra makes people enjoy the game more or makes them feel more special about themselves? You really don't know anything about any gamers. What statistics or valid reason do you have behind such statements?

Wow. I don't think I've ever said this before in a post here before but that is just complete fail. I'm flabbergasted and in awe that someone can honestly form such an illogical idea in their head. Usually, you only hear crap like this when someone is on heavy drugs.

By the way, over 50% of WoW subscribers are above 30. So, half of your statement is wrong by simple fact.

If you want toread bull**** pick up the daily paper. I'm just posting what I've seen and believe.

  12. Still no evidence?

    Ignored.

Also, the cliche daily paper comment was quite lulzy.

I'm going to have to side with Tychus on this one, that's just plain bull****. I know a ton of MMO gamers and not one fits that profile. Some people are sick and addicted to these things but not at all like that. The people with money-spending syndromes like you described would be those with far more than they would ever reasonably spend in their lifetime.

Stop linking StarCraftWire.net's articles. They are poorly researched, terribly written, and serve only to inflame the community.

Do not link their articles. Link to another reputable site like TeamLiquid, SC-Source, SC2Pod, etc. Anyone who doesn't outright lie in their articles.

This is also a hoax. Blizzard has assured us numerous times that they are not considering subscription based play for StarCraft 2. It's just not feasible.
