actually i feel that the wc3 system is like sc system.

and blizzard is good at making it so that you would bother about it if you are not a really hardcore player. so... just let blizzard handle that one :p

It wasn't complicated. All range had piercing, all melee had normal, all siege weapons have siege damage and casters/major big flying things had magic. With a few exceptions, as in raiders having siege, but they were easy to understand.

It was rock/paper/scissors all over again. Melee units killed range units. Range units killed air and casters. Casters and air killed melee units. Well, not entirely that simple, but it really wasn't complicated. After having played a little while you knew exactly if your units were going to do good, normal or lousy damage against your opponents.

You entire post itself is contradictory.

I've played WC3 enough to know what's what. But on top of your post, if you start going over all the armor types as well, it starts getting annoying. And with different percentage bonus/reduction calculations for everything versus everything, it's down right stupid. They could've streamlined the system but they didn't.

It is needlessly overcomplicated. And messing with an already stupid system again in the expansion is complete idiocy. The WC3 system isn't one of the better things Blizzard came up with, they don't need to have that again.
