that sounds like it could be fair but i dont know how units, like the colossus, with a more finite range could hit units in the valley

There won't be units in the valley.

Thanks to all who've replied to this. I too agree with the blind-spots around cliffs. WC3 did a fairly good job with adjusting the line-of-sight, but there were definitely some errors in those calculations.

What would be really nice, seeing as they've got search lights in the graphics for things like the Protoss Mothership and the Terran Command Center / Planetary Fortress, would be to have improved sight in particular areas at night thanks to these search lights.

The radar is quite cool, too, but again with the cliffs there should be blind spots to the radar. Hmm, perhaps time to start another thread on that...

i dont think they are pathable, but the scenery is great! gj blizzard, looks like the great outdoors, and if it was not for the fact that there are vicious zerg on the lose i would almost like to go and have a picnic on the grass and stuff!

Yes, my only complaint with the jungle world stills they've been showing so many of is that the cliff walls and the rock faces aren't as well detailed as the rest of the stuff. There could be some rocks that look very monolithic, but even then the texture should have more detail.
