I didn't like his music and certainly did not accept his pedo-side. So.. yeah... not much to say here.
Although I do respect people who feel for him. After all he was a very influential man (or at least his music).

Darth, I read your ''philosophy''. I commend you for trying to stay objective towards life, but I think you're taking it too far. It is one thing to accept the fact that life has in itself no purpose by nature.. but we CAN give it meaning, purpose.. and even make it worthwhile.. MJ is an example of that.
When you die, you don't fail. Bodies are meant to die. They're coded to die. EVERYTHING has a cycle which needs to finish. It is the way nature works and makes perfect sense.
This is in fact one of the many reasons why, in my opinion, religion is false. Just the sheer notion of anything being eternal (like a soul) is absolutely implausible. And it surprises me that you, given your apparent atheistic state, would ignore something like that.
And even still.. when someone you hold dear dies, it is only natural to feel emotional about it. You should respect other people's feeling towards MJ in this example.
I mean, probably I like him as much as you do, but that doesn't mean you have to be rude towards their mourning.

P.S: I do thank MJ for inventing the moondance.. my tauren makes a superb imitation of it and because of that I'm the n°1 comedian in all raids :p
