A pedo dies and you shed tears? I would hope that the only tears being shed are for his SOLE contribution of artistic talent, nothing more. The guys character was a foolish abusive abomonation - it is a sad day for humanity when tears are shed for his character, and not those of brave men who sacrifice themselves so others may have a better standard of living. Those who go unremembered...

First I want to say to Renatus that every day I think of our American soldiers who die in combat. I can't forget them, especially since a friend of mine died last christmas because of a road side bomb. Secondly I agree with how Micheal's character was, terrible. But I have to say that I still feel bad because he had talent but he destroyed his life. For that I feel sorry for the man.

    *fixed.

CNN has confirmed his death with a L.A. coroner. I can't say I'll miss him as a person, but I will miss him as an artist.

Not just the army, and not just the American army >.<, heroic, just, and brilliant people die on all sides of conflicts, the death of scientists, the death of people who strive for innovation and the betterment of mankind, its everywhere and they are all too often forgotten while people such as michael get the spotlight.

Is it fair? That in a 1000 years time people will remember MJ and not the man who got himself killed by jumping infront of a bullet meant for a child? But yeah, sorry, it just saddens me how people can mourn anything other than his musical contributions, while not blinking an eye at other people. Perhaps my problem is more with the media... Or society.. I dunno..

Perhaps i just had too much whisky...

@Kaaraa - You see, i dont seek to argue with people. In a manner of speaking; other people know that the shiit is there, they can smell it, hell even see it at times, but they dont say anything. The only difference between you and me is that i feel the sake of argument is a necessasay evil when pointing at the shiit and asking people to care.

But hey, **** it, this is the internet, i dont know anything about any of you and vice versa, so just ignore that last paragraph.

Cant say that I will miss him in any form, never really liked his music and his *hobbies* were a bit to the strange side.

However, personal feelings aside, his work should be remembered.

I've always felt Billie Jean was his crowning achievement honestly. That, and the song where he collab'ed with the Stones

Never really cared for him and I won't start now.
His work should be remembered though...wait
He was the "king" of pop, right? If he had any influence on current pop music in Poland, screw it. There are better people to care about

You know what, I'm legitamitely sad that Mike is dead. In all honesty, I never really imagined a scenario where he'd actually be dead. I just kind of assumed he'd live forever. Well Mike, it certainly was a Thriller, at least now you won't have to worry about whether Billie Jean's kid is your son or not anymore. Go be a Smooth Criminal where it really don't matter if you're Black or White. Just Beat It.

Billie Jean and PYT are my favorites. Billie Jean was the freaking turning point of music.

I heard about it yesterday from a couple people just saying "Did you hear who died?" I didn't believe them at first but then today I saw on the news it said he died. So... First thing in my mind: shock. Didn't think he would die at only 50.

I liked his music a lot. That moonwalk always amazed me. Though you guys may not like him as a person... you can't really blame him. I mean if you entirely changed skin colors from a disease, wouldn't you feel weird? And if you got charged with child molestation when you didn't do it, you'd probably start hating people too. Don't know about you guys, but I think you should give him some more respect for dealing with that stuff and still have enough confidence to go out there and perform for people.
