Ah Amsterdam it's a wonderful place as long as you watch your stuff. This thread got big because there's lots of people coming in saying we're here because of Alexxa then a bunch of people say we're not, then that starts a conversation, rince and repeat. To put it bluntly she could show up nude and I wouldn't care, and no I'm not lying. As for the bill of rights, I didn't know that. Science has always been my strong point. If I want to know something history wise I go to my friend Kelly. Let me tell you she can go on for hours about history. Makes me want to stab my ear with a spoon.

 

wouldnt care is a big word for me, seeing as i am a hormonally rampant teenager, but it isnt in my top priorities list

I know quite a lot about history, i seem to forget very little i am told about the past

Our drug use is lower then england france, belgium and germany, not sure about other countries

I think that ban is lame. Now people need to get those in a illigal way. Then it's just a small step to heroin and other evil drugs. Legalizing weed and mushies was supposed to keep drugs of the street, and prevent people from using the really dangerous types. This just destroys that idea, and keeps 80 percent of the tourists away. Because just face it: who actually comes to our museums sober? xD

I think thats one of the reasons drugs are a big problem here in America. Because so much of it is outlawed peopel want to do it because it's forbidden. Legalize a few and I bet you hurt the drug trade and some people will stop because it's no longer forbidden. Besides there's still salvia is you want to get high here in America.

Anyway NL is quite famous for its policies regarding the drugs, so maybe thats why you are for the liberalization of drugs. I don't know for Belgium...
Some good points indeed... but the idea of liberalizing drug would not make sense for a country as big as the US (imagine everyone who wanna go bad will go bad. And in certain states, there many bad guys but thats just my 2 cents

 

actually, the dutch are often underestimated in size, we are the most densely populated country in Europe(not counting mini-states), having a population of 17,5 million.
