what about this: we dont actually walk on top of the platform but it is a see-through, we really work in a closed room

There probably isn't any air in the platforms

The terrans wear helmets to keep oxygen in their suits and to protect then

Protoss have the shield that could keep in air or they don't need to breath at all

The zerg most likely don't breath since they are space conquerors and space has no air

Probably also counts as extra protection vs zerg biological warfare!

The marine suits are mass produced, also to provide ABC protection (vacuum isn´t the only threath) They need to be airthight.

So how does that explain Civilians on the platforms, then? They didn't wear anything special at all. Save for a random bionic eye.

If we're looking at this logically, then the only conceivable explanation is that the atmosphere on the platform is more or less the same as on these planets.

There is obviously air on maps with trees.

The space platforms shouldn't have an atmosphere because you can see through the gaps to the vacuum of space. However you get explosions from weapons fire so there must be some air....

Can't be see-through, air units can fly all the way across gaps

this is a sci-fi game, there is no natural laws, unless it happens 1000000 years after this time, you know in battle.net/scc in the protoss section it says "At the cost of 100 terran lives" a life of a terran (us) is about 100 years so, wait *calculing 100*100...* 10.000 years after this time and the terrans in SC have ADVANCED suits, that costs about 500 years of research, so 10.500 years after this time, the zerg campaign (first mission of original) says the zerg destroyed 9 of the 11 planets of the UED (United ... Dominion), perhaps they implemented Oxygen machines, who knows, its 10.500 years after this time... In a map a saw like 5 trees in 5 BIG capsules, maybe they are the Oxygen machines?

Oh and protoss commander, you should remove the "AN" in "there is an air and oxygen in space !!" because... count the molecules of oxygen or wathever they are.

Come on, Teh Chosen One was off be only 9,600 years. Anyone could make that mistake...LOL.

I could see the advanced technology used by the terrans being created in 400 years if not sooner, that is, as long as the world keeps advancing in technology instead of blowing itself to pieces.

There are trees and plants, so I'm assuming that there's oxygen.
Notice Tychus in the trailer, he goes outside without his helmet on.
