    In very long drawn out games it could, besides you don't see nukes between good players now..

    Yea I've never seen a nuke used in a pro match. And I think that I've almost drained YouTube of all of the pro matches, I'm not sure if I will see one, but there's probly one out there

    that's probably why blizzard reduced the cost of the nuke for SC2. even as it is, it's not useful enough for pro matches. in the time it took to prep and launch a nuke, a dozen other things could have happened and changed the tide of battle.

    True, but if your gong to extend the range then the damge is ganna go way down, it will do like 50 damge to everything in a 4 screen width.

    That would make it = crap

    So don't decrease the damage.

    So increase radius affected as well as cost and build time.

    It doesn't matter cause they won't do it and I won't play T.

    but i think use of nuclear can slow you down...

    BR 4 now out, check it out and tell me there is still something to complain about? the nuke has just become a harraser type thing.

    but sir... the time and the minerals?? if your that very professional gamer i think you can do it but for other gamers i think it would not work.. but in the end your right the nuke just become a harasser type thing.

    Nukes are like this:

    Lure the enemy out of their base. Best would be to attack an expansion. -> Send a Ghost to their empty base. -> Nuke it before the enemy gets back, if he has the chance to get back at all. Because if you've got the resources to nuke somebody, then you also should have a good attack force.

    yes until people start getting smart and leaving detection and a few units behind in there base.
