The ultralisk's blades are attached to the head, like tusks. I guess that is why they called them mandible.

I love the rolling banelings, seeing them just running like anything else and then exploding just seems too dull compared to the rolling.

From what testers have been saying about the roach, seems like it might be too powerful. Not only that, but the name sucks. Don't know about the model, haven't taken a really good look at it. I love the concept of a super fast regenerating unit though, and I hope it stays with just a few twinks.

Heres some unit updates. Feel free to add them to your original post LT

    Corrupter - New Unit
    - An air-to-air combat unit.
    - Rather than destroying it's opponents, it infests them and turns them into a stationary turret-like unit/building, making them fight their own allies.

    Infester - New Unit
    - As a battle support unit, does not have any attacks.
    - Can move while burrowed.
    - Can cast Dark Swarm: Seems to be the same.
    - Can cast Disease: Creates and aura that damages the unit.
    - Can cast Infestation: Can infest any building and create infested marines from them. The marines are slow, but fires similar to regular marines.

    Roach - New Unit
    - Ground unit that can regenerate HP at an incredibly fast rate.
    - Requires powerful and concentrated fire to destroy.
    - Has 90HP.

    Overseer - New Evolutionary Unit
    - Evolves from: Overlord
    - Larger vision range than the Overlord, can detect invisible/burrowed units.

    Overlord - Upgraded
    - Can no longer detect invisible/burrowed units.
    - New ability: Can neutralize resources or neutral posts.
    - Can create small creeps.

    Baneling - New Evolutionary Unit
    - Evolves from: Zerglings
    - Explodes on contact with enemy units or buildings

    Nydus Worm - New Unit
    - Unit version of the Nydus Canal.
    - Can create canals anywhere on the map.

    Queen - Upgraded
    - Created directly from the Hatchery
    - Can only have 1 Queen at a time.
    - Has many powerful abilities that are good for zerg and directs the defensive line.
    - Can expand creeps or act as a defensive structure.
    - [Ability] Deep Tunnel: Can move to any hatchery on the map.
    - Can evolve and learn more abilities.

    Ultralisk - Upgraded
    - Can now burrow.
    - Can now attack multiple units.

Swarm Guardian - New Evolutionary Unit
    - Evolves from: Mutalisk
    - Has an even longer range, and powerful against ground units.
    - Can create broodlings that attack for a period of time.

From the videos I have spotted 2 structures known as Nest, and Poison Den.
The Posion Den seemed like it produces posionous Creep but I think its simply a prequisite for the Queens Poison Creep ability, as you have to click an upgrade.
The Nest was then evolved into a Spire which means Mutalisks or the Overlords evolution upgrade may be done here. If you get Mutalisks once you get a Nest, the upgraded would allow you to evolve them into Swarm Guardians and possibly allow you to create Corrupters.
The Nest structures purpose is unkown so far, anyone have any info?

On the list of structures, it sez what structure does what. Nest enables Zerglings to morph into banelings.

I'm hoping that the Queen is the second unit that can be hit by air attacks, but that can attack back, differently from the Colossus.

Also, I'm positive to have seen a Spire attacking enemies at that video where the Queen moves from one place to another by a hole. I'm thinking these structures are more than just tech-locks, that each of them will have another function too.

they most likely attack because of queen's abilities, not on their own.

The corruptor sounsd awsome really cant wait to see more of that unit in action, cool with that action making them go againts friendlys sounds fab..

Hell yeah the infester thats goin to be nasty i can just imagine it... Devastating unit can cause alot of caos and moving while borrowd is pretty damn sick to me, as a zerg fan i think this is very nice and to god to be true yo! sick
imma 4sure use that unit alot when the games out.. ;D hehe

Yeah the overseer´might balance the game out, pretty imba to start out with a dectector imo but lets see... would rather have the overseer be a new unit with new gimmicks, rather than blend it with the OG overlord :upset:

and the Overlord sad about the detection stuff, but wow creating creepes on site sounds promising and wow again that it can "block" minerals i like that future
Banelings are awesome its cool that blizz thought about a zergling evolve, in the videos where they show zealots and the coloseus fall to the banelings lookd very nice.

Nydus worm freakin nice eheh surprise then the zerg are in your base, makes it hard for the other races to defend that kind of attack. Could u see a nydus worm and curroptor unit combo sickness imo :good: cant wait

Seeing from the videos, it seems as the Corruptor had to hit a while the BCs to make them corrupted, and after they were, they didn't attack the Vikings promptly. It seems as after corrupting an air unit, it acts as an infested CC, that starts on low health but recovers in time, and the other player can/has to control it. And the corrupted unit is usable, as those corrupted Vikings were fighting each other. My question is: "to what extent will the corrupted air unit keep its abilities?"

In example: will a Corrupted BC be able to cast Yamato-gun? Will corruption wear off over time? Will a corrupted viking be able to land? Will any corrupted unit keep its same stats (armor, cool-down and damage)?

Overling - you are incorrect. From the videos, you can clearly see what the Corruptor's effects are. See my posts in this thread to clarify.

As far as duration/health/damage/etc. though, we just don't know yet.

The corrupted units seem to attack with something like the wurm glaives of the Mutalisks, not the normal unit attack. I doesn't even have to turn to face its enemys...

Well in the video where Corruptors get 2 BattleCruisers corrupted, I was sure they just became immobile and did nothing. When you watch close you can see little green glaves striking at the vikings, but definitely not the usual red lasers used by the BCs.

And like marcusrodrigues pointed out, they don't even turn back.

Did anyone looked close enough to say if the attack from corrupted BC was the same attack animation as the Extractor and Spire (<--Not to sure if it was a spire) where firing when defending the base (Queen vs Marines and Vikings Video)?

That is a good point, it could really be the same attack, altough it looks more like the wurm glaives of the Mutalisk. I cannot tell it for sure...

After closer verification the infested Battlecruiser seems to be firing some glaive weapons at 1 ammo per second, I was suprise how fast it was actually firing.

As for the Spire and the Extrator they are firing 1 groups of 3 little green light (most probably bugs) that come back to them, just like the attack of the Warcraft3 unit the Crypt Fiend.

So I was wrong on my observation earlier. Now that I had more time on my hands to find those high quality vids to compare.

Now the next question, will that Corrupted Battle Cruiser will be able to use the Glaive weapon like ability versus Ground forces, to provide cover for your air only Corruptors?

That would be really good. Since it looks like the Mutalisk attack, i guess it will attack ground as well... And VodkaChill, I simpatize with your condition as a Cannon Fodder :(
