If you go to the gym, you build muscle.

If the zerg get into fights, and then recover, they should gain some strength i.e. attack damage, and their carapeaces should adapt and become stronger i.e. more defence.

Say an Ultralist has survived many attacks, it should toughen up a bit and gain more defence or attack damage depending on what it did. i.e. if it takes a lot of damage and survives, it builds up its carapeace and hence more defence. If it blast enemies, it builds up attack etc...

Erm yeah, and let's make the marines go up in ranks too.
For each kill, just like in Red Alert 2.

Seriously, we already had this discussion. Stick to the search function instead of creating more and more threads of already discussed things.

When you want to discuss a topic but there is an older thread, do you necropost the old thread or create a new?

If you add something to the thread then nobody can complain about necroposting. It also reduces clutter from duplicate threads, and it also happens to be fun at times :D

This idea would qualify as ranking, which has been discussed, here for example.

My short response to raylito's idea is no. This is Starcraft, and so we don't need advancing units, sports cars, or bunny hopping.
