I have seen this unit a few times before (a zerg unit idea) on google and what if this replaced the roach's current model? it looks harder to kill, because of all of its armor (which the roach is suppost to) but the movement under ground might be a little harder to see with it. ~What do you think?
The roach can't move underground at the moment so that doesn't matter. That was only tried out for a month or two quite some time ago.
Actually I like how it looks, really Zergy. Even if it is a mix from muta / roach / lurker, it's not like it can't get to the final product, (I'm looking at you Swarm Guardian)
Yea, I thnk it should have a different looking attack then the muta though, but i think it would be a good idea for a new roach model. Maybe an attack more like a... Well idk, more like a scorpion? Like a short range melée unit that's got lots of hp and fast regen.
my question is how does the roach even attack with spires or the melee scythes on its sides i dont think there is anything wrong with the roach just as long as it has some logic to it you know the roach should be recreated
I personally like the roach better. The version you posted looks too much like some kinda scorpion. Though i don't like the roaches current attack animation.
IMO: A muta-morph to a ground siege-range unit, only geared towards units. Low damage against buildings, but high against infantry, possible corrosive (damage over time) effect.
That could be an idea ^ would add something different. But probly not seige rank at teir 2 Edit: I guess the Terran had the tank teir 2.5 last game (and probly this game) why not.
