Lately i hav been going up against terran a lot and i hav found that zerg hav a major disadvantage scouting wise, all it takes is a few marines to stop a sacrificial overlord and even with speed usually i cant get enough information in time to react to banshees or sumthin like that. How do u get a scout into the terran base?

Zergling up the ramp and ovie from the other side. Try changelings instead of spending on ovie speed first. I also go for early evolution chambers so I can put down crawlers immediately if need be. If I see more barracks than one then I get banelings, which need creep so I get 2 queens per base to spread it as well as to ward off air harassment.

Drone/probe/SUV-scouting works for every race. Sacrifice 1drone for the scouting knowledge in case their going for an early rush or a proxy pylon or reapers ect ect. But for zerg overlords SHOULD work as you start the game with one. You immideatly should have your first overlord scouting for their expansion and head out once there gateway or cannon is building

as Zerg i dont have any problems with scouting my terran opponent as long as i have overseers ^-^

i've been using changelings against terran and that makes a lot of sense cause you'll need an overseer anyway if your opponent goes for banshees so why not build it earlier to scout?
when im against terran i usually fast-expand around 20 food and then i get a ton of banelings and spread some creep to make them faster.... then if i cant scout with zerglings or anything else i assume he is going for banshees so in that case i get a lair and an overseer and maybe a spire
-(i usually got the spire too... back when i was a bit more newbish)
so its basicly just overseers!!!!!! and some mutas aswell when you allready have the lair + if they dont go banshees you can still use your mutas for harras........ obviously when going overseer and mutas your ground army will be much smaller than it should be but so will your opponents cause he's rushing banshees and his banshees will be countered by mutas so it should'nt be a big problem....
i remember once where i faced a terran player who went hellions into tanks and i went zergling-baneling-hydralisk and i actually won the last battle even though he was like 40 suply ahead of me at that point.... and all i did was run my zerglings past his tanks into his main and just kill all his scvs while my hydras and banelings tried their best to kill his tanks... so it turned out he GG'ed when still having 5-6 tanks left to kill what was left of my army (at that point i actuaolly didn't have anything else than the zerglings in his main so he could've just ran his tanks right in there and killed me...)

The overlord scout always dies early against terran because they have marines. So, I much prefer to run a drone in at the very beginning instead. You can also harass scv's that are trying to build stuff, which can be a lot of fun. :)
You can still send an overlord, but I wouldn't put it directly in their base yet. Position your overlord somewhere close by taking advantage of ledges and space where ground units can't go.

An overseer without speed is about as fast as an overlord with speed, so I would just get overseers. I don't usually get speed until I'm almost in late game or I want to drop banelings. Plus, overseer is a detector, gets you changelings, and can contaminate buildings. Against terran, I very often go ling, bling, mutas. If you have mutas + overseer, then the banshees are just screwed.
