You'll probably be wondering why its called Zerg ErOr.... As of now, the number of fans confused with 2 of the zergs units are highly increasing in numbers... InfestEr vs. InfestOr CorruptEr vs. CorruptOr basically its not such a big deal but for those of you out there who are into details and acuuracy, Now is the time to act! Which do you prefer to call it anyway? Personally ive always called them the infestor and corruptor but after some confusion with other members correcting me that it was both with an "er" Ive been not quite sure anymore.. they also gave some links on sites that states its name.. but besides that there are still other sites that implies its name the other way around.. so to conclude it all maybe we should decide by ourselves what do we like its name to be.. and btw ive also noticed that the DefilEr and the DevourEr are its predecessors so the Er side might not be so bad after all, but then again the Or were the ones I get to know them first...
he stated tha the ErOr part of the name is about the how the end of the Infest r and the Corrupt r should sound like, weather(wrong word, but i cant spell) it should have E or O.
Infestor is too specific. It has dark swarm so it's not just an infestor... But I'm fine with the corruptor, because that's all it does. ps I do think the -or ending is proper English as well (see actor, sailor), but American English might prefer -or where both are applicable
It's actually supposed to be -er for Infester and Corrupter in both American and British English, but I still spell it with an -or because it happened to grow upon me.
It looks fine with the corruptor because all the vowels are 'deep' ones so the suffix is also 'deep'. It's the infestor that looks out of place because the vowels before the suffix -or are 'high'.
hmm everyones have their own opinion on which sounds better but, Surely the infester should be ERd is stead of or basing on its former type the defilER btw sorry i was intending to make the poll be availed to vote as many, but its too late coz i already voted on my own, and also for those who are just about to vote, better think twice b4 choosing the last 2 options ^_^ as ive forseen it first as just a fun poll but didnt expect to see that there would be members choosing those .
